SF Maxima Amator wonderful, magical speaker! What’s with the 30+ year old B&W Matrix 800’s behind you? A new “heritage” release from Bowers and Wilkins 😆😆? Ugly, power hungry and soo big. But it’s another really great speaker. My buddy cherishes his pair.
Hi Dan, thanks for reaching out. We have several videos on our UA-cam channel with the B&W in action. I don't comment about how they look because there are very different opinions, let's say that generally the Sonus Faber are much better good looking. About the power demand actually they are not that hungry, they have a good sensitivity so you don't need a huge amplifier, for sure they can handle up to 800 watts so they can push hard. About the sonic performance there's no comparison between the B&W and the SF, they are in two different leagues, much much better the B&W hands down.
