I clone or install new OS daily. Once I run through this several times it will be super duper. Plan on making a batch file with predefined Drive letters so it should be a bit more automated. Thank you very much!!!

I think you forgotten the last step at the end of your video to unassign the letter of the Drive E so that the recovery partition remains hidden and it looks clean like the original windows. Very helpful tutorial and will try it. Normally I would use a software to clone a drive.

Currently using clonezilla ( free and opensource ) to clone any os( all microsoft / linux / bsd ) as it supports standard and clone over network.

Dude, great video. What is the difference in time, when cloning this way and cloning using 3rd party software.
Another hint: try using robocopy command with /MIR switch to copy files. This works way faster than copy, as it's multi-threaded.👍

hi..thanks for the trick. but unfortunately, i have wrongly creating image file into the new ssd, with assigned letter D:. then i just realized it till I'm at the creating partition stage. After finished the command, the D: partition was lost..and i cannot repeat from the beginning cause the bitlocker was missing and cannot shrink the disk again. what should i do? please help me..thank you in advance

boot to livecd(ubuntu eg.) command is sudo dd if=/dev/sdX of=/dev/sdY bs=8M status=progress

Difficult way, with less success
I was just looking at an old backup drive and came across a note, about an old way to copy a drive. - XCOPY C:\*.* D:\/c/h/e/k/r - I also had a note that it no longer works.
