A few years ago my girlfriend taught me a craft item that she learned from someone and she never took credit and did tweak a little bit. Well I made a bunch to give to my co-workers for gifts only to find out that another co-worker took that idea and made a class and called it her own. I was shocked!!! She never came up with that idea and to call it her own, it made me so upset!!! I couldn’t confront because this was told to me by her friend and she actually showed me the social media post of her classes..Shame on her!!! I prayed to ask God fir forgiveness....boy was that hard.... my dear girlfriend who had taught me and inspired me had passed away about 2yrs ago.....I miss her dearly but when I craft her presence is with me.......Don’t let others destroy your joy....You are wonderful and talented and amazing kind to share what you know....in God’s time, he will correct what needs to be done. It truly is hard to believe that someone could be so inconsiderate as to steal your ideas and post them as their own. Yes, it’s shocking that grown women behave this way. That being said I have learned so much from you in just three days. And I can’t believe that you actually encourage us to make these and sell at craft fairs. I am astonished at how nice the crafters are on UA-cam. I follow someone else who makes things very different than yours but also encourages us to make them and sell at craft fairs. I couldn’t believe that she really gave permission so I emailed her and asked her if it was OK if I could make the items that she makes. So glad you brought this topic up Sherry! As I view videos on UA-cam I have noticed quite a bit of copy cat thieves. What these thieves don’t seem to realize is that because you are in a class of your own and because you take your projects to a whole different level, you can instantly recognize the knock offs. First they copy your designs, and then they have the audacity to claim it as their own. Like really!! There is no other in UA-cam land to compare to you Sherry! You are indeed the Posh, professional, artistic paper lady! You have been soooooooo generous in sharing your talent with us. You thieves, and you all know who you are, please at least give Sherry the credit and at least do a project share. There are other crafters out there that sell not only their designs but they also sell like a license in addition if you will be selling any of the project you make from the bought design. Sherry is so doggone generous. You all need to stop right now and don’t let her have to tell you again that you should have the decency to give her the credit. Sorry for the rant but I have been wanting to say this ever since I have seen these Poshilicious knock offs! Thank you so much Sherry for sharing your awesome talent with us!

Sherry, I'm so sorry that people are stealing, yes stealing, ideas from you. Lazy thinking and greed often take over where creative thinking and sharing should be. I am a college professor, and stealing ideas (called "intellectual property") in the academic world subjects the stealer to legal action. You are so giving and so creative. Stealing, yes stealing, from you could be a compliment because stealing people only steal the from the best. But stealing deceives their viewers. All they need to do is give credit where credit is due. By the way, super nice purse. Very high quality. The highest I have seen on youtube, Take care, Sherry. You deserve a higher regard than what you have been subjected to.

This is a cutie! Love that red & white striped paper! People will always steal your ideas and use them on their channel. I see all the time people making the exact same thing on several channels. Unfortunately don’t think there is anything you can do about it, which totally sucks. If there is a way you can block these people from your channel, and you know who they are, do it. Then at least they can not steal future tutorials. Sorry this is happening to you, but people are lazy. Easier to steal then create!
