How to Become a Pilot (Basics)

If you're thinking about becoming a pilot, Nate Tennant lays down the basic outline for getting your certificate.
Get your Medical Certificate with an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME). Find one at:
www.faa.gov/pilots/AMElocator/
Then create an account for your Student Pilot Certificate at:
iacra.faa.gov/IACRA/
Find a flight instructor to help you with flight training and the written test.
Once the examiner hands you the temporary airman certificate, you're officially a PILOT!
