- Me, on a Yamaha R3, vs. my buddy Thomas on a Kawasaki Ninja 400 playing at Laguna Seca, during "Carter's at the Track" track day. We were riding in the A group, lapping 1:48s to 49s.
It was a 92dB day and we both were running mostly stock bikes. The Ninja 400 obviously has more power and pulls the R3 on the straights.
It was a fun day of track riding! (albeit I was in serious pain due to injuries from a Buttonwillow crash the week prior). - Спорт
Looked really good and great lines. Nice to see smaller displacement keeping up with bigger bikes in the corners. Also the speed differential between big bikes and the 300/400s is incredible! Nice videos!
No kidding lol. Especially in the uphill sections, the speed difference is huge lol
I hope I get to track my r3 someday soon.
Wow💯👏
good stuff. i've always wanted to track my R3 but it's my only mode of transportation and the exhaust on it is easily way over 100 dB. i don't want to put back my +40 pound stock exhaust 😄
Great riding brotha!!
R3 or Ninja 400 which one would you recommend?
If money is no concern, then for sure Ninja 400. It’s just a higher power version of the same thing lol
@@leitian7328 Haha
Reason I ask is because some folks say the R3 has better suspension but the ninja 400 pulls harder, of course cause the extra cc.
Thank you.
Cant wait to see more track time!
Cheers ;))
Nice job. Which quickshifter set up are you using for the r3
the "none" quick shifter ;)) haha. JK it doesn't have one ;))
This might be dumb af but can you like drag knee with an r3 or are the tires to thin are tire thickness matter to lean angle?
The tires being thin, only means it cannot handle much power --- which the R3 doesn't have much anyways; the traction in terms of cornering is as good as wider tires.
Yeah we drag knee all day long on little bikes ;))
You carry nice speed dropping off of 9 👍
Thanks ;) It's a fun downhill run ;))
