Ain't it the truth? Lucas & Kai are like 2 halves of the same coin. Hood is a criminal posing as a Sheriff while Proctor's an Amish Kingpin who isn't pretending to be something he's not. Polar opposites with striking similarities make for great Literature, TV & Cinema. Especially when they clash.
Best part about this show is that Hood probably would of happily joined with Proctor, had Proctor not tried so hard to “buy” him and act so confident about it.
That's hard to debate. Despite the fact that Hood became a cop to protect his daughter in banshee, he was looking to become his own man with his own plans. If only Rabbit hadn't come chasing after him again after meeting up with Anna when he had finished his prison sentence.
I think hood was just bored and had nothing else to do. And when he found out that Anna had moved on, he just decided to take the opportunity that was given to him.
