I love it when gardeners use what they have instead of buying shit... got 5 gallon buckets? Grow in em. Chain link fence? Perfect trellis.

I didn't even think you could grow okra in a container. Also, that harvest at the end was looking too good lol. I was ready to snack down lol. Thanks for sharing. Please remember your key words & hashtags so people can find your channel. UA-cam just randomly suggested this. Though I'm glad the algorithm suggested it, I've literally entered Black gardening, Black Gardeners, Black Homesteader's, budget gardening, & container gardening and not once did this come up as recommended.

Nice Garden! For potatoes next time before you put it with dirt in your bucket use 2 plastic bags, poke holes then put it in the bucket with dirt. Then you can just pull the bag out to check for potatoes.

I bought flowers in bulbs from the dollar store and they sprouted in a week!!!
That's the fastest I've ever seen flowers grow from bulbs. But then again we have bipolar days in Washington state. It rained for 3 days then it was sunny for the rest and rained like crazy again.
Wow your seeds are amazing! I have never grown food from seed myself.

Randomly recommended by UA-cam. I love this video. I grew up in the South and now live in the Pacific Northwest. I embark every spring, hardly knowing what I am doing, but loving the grand experiment. Thank you for sharing your exploration of gardening.

Melissa Lidback same here! I grew up in Texas and now live in Pacific Northwest. It’s hard as heck to garden up here, and I’ve tried okra...ain’t hap'nin'... but maybe if I try them in a pot I can get them to grow. I just don’t know if it gets too cool at night up here.

Love your garden! Your peppers can mix together and it won't change their taste. They may, however, cross-pollinate and if they do and you save their seeds and plant them the next season, who knows what kind of peppers you'll get! Good luck on your 2020 growing season!

MIgardner has a video about tomato leaf curl, i just watched it earlier today, it could be overwatering, heat... and if you are having blossom end rot it’s a calcium deficiency. You can use tums(antacid tablets) which is calcium bicarbonate to help with that. Thanks for sharing your garden! God bless the rest of your growing season!🤗

All stores near me only have flower seeds which I grabbed for a terrarium for my nephew to do a science project. Planted last Friday and they sprouted already.
I would like to do some hydroponic containers or self watering set ups. I hear grocery store produce is usually infertile but I might give cucumber and tomatoes a shot.
