It would most likely have been written by the band's Leading Drummer, Kerr McQuillan. Not quite as hard to memorize as, say, a Rachmaninov piano concerto!
@@angusmackay1 As a classical musician I know how difficult it is to play in a tight ensemble like a pipe band. At least I have the music in front of me. Playing from memory, handling their respective instruments, AND marching I have tons of admiration for all the pipe bands I hear.
