Thanks very much,as am following the steps all worked except the last one that's for the year,I don't know why? And after watching several videos of yours base on excel and pp,I would like you to please help me with some questions on excel and how I can submit them to you for corrections please.
Ok so thank you I’ve been trying to work a formula for this. I have a list of customers who get 2 points for every month after their start date. I’m going to try it at work tomorrow and see if it works out. 🙏 if not, is it possible to ask for assistance?
Thank you for the awesome explanation. I have a dataset, where the date and the time are updated through queries from a website in the same cell. Is there a way to seperate the date and time on the same?
Is there a way to do time? ie 10:05 on one date and minus it from 11:05 the next day to come up with 25 hours? I use this to track my electric meter readings. I enter the date in column A, reading in column B, and time in column C. I then subtract those entries from the previous days to find out how much kWh I used for the day plus how many kWh I averaged using per hour. Hopefully, this makes sense.
Can you provide instruction on how to create start dates? For example I want to create weekly schedules in advance of the week. I want to be able to enter a start date in a cell (say in the upper right corner near the sheet title) and then have the sequential dates populate for that week in seven columns (an eighth column I can use to add a name for each row) in the columns. Hope that makes sense but I can't find any instruction for it. Have found a similar template in Sheets and one in Excel but no formulas are listed. The one for Excel shows the beginning date as "StartDate" which you can enter any date you want and then the subsequent columns populate with their respective formulas reading StartDate+1, StartDate+2 etc. Can you help?
Thank you for this tıtorial. So, how can we find out the month number from month name. For example, if we have mounth name like october or june or may, how can we obtain month number from those names?
I am using a Pivot table to view how many clients enter my shop each day. I am able to filter the dates so I can see each day's total if its within the past week, but I cannot figure out how to show the data within the past two weeks. I am almost positive I can use a custom formula however I can't find any information anywhere. Is it possible you know how? thank you
Thank you for your excellent videos. They are the best on the internet!! PLEASE would you do a short BASIC video on DATES, the basics. How to enter dates, ensure they are numeric and not text ie on the right side of the cell, how to correct them if I entered the dates wrong and the how to SORT BY DATE. Due to my house burning and I was in a Motel for eleven months I have a huge pile of receipts to submit to the Insurance. The pile of receipts are not in any date order. I would like to just start at the top of my pile and enter each receipt. Then I would like to SORT them into date order. The first date was April 4, 2021 going through to February 20, 2022. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. I am so overwhelmed.
I’ll have a spreadsheet with a start time and an end time and I would like a column that tells the difference or elapsed time between the two…do you know of a formula that will do this?
How do you do this backwards? Where if I have a starting date and a number of months, what date would that be? And if I change the months, what would be the new end date? Trying to figure out a new pay off date in mortgage if I make extra payments.
This just made tracking my nursing documentation so much simpler. Thank you so much!🎉
Love the way you teach ! Thanks 😊

Thank you! Sir.. You are so generous that we can practice the excel exercise for free and you elaborate on the formula very clear!!

How to do it in the reverse? If I want to convert data on day-month-years in textual form into figures?

Thanks 🌹 😍
I love it.🤝💯
How to you add a year like it I want to enter day then add a year to the date column
What if I want to know how many days from one date to another, including the day of and excluding leap years
Or you can enter the date in a blank cell, go to format,/custom and enter four d's (or m's) to achieve the same result.
Impressive
Sir it’s not working in my excel, i use ms 365. Don’t know why, i followed your steps already. Hope to hear from you soon!
❤❤❤❤❤
Great vid but you sir made a mistake. When dividing by 365 it should actually be 365.25 to account for leap years
Muchas Gracias !
How do I separate dates from beginning dates to calculate 30, 60, 90, 120 days of more?
