    You know what I really appreciate? In their staged videos, they're wearing full dinosaur costumes, yeah, big unwieldy gloves and everything. But in their live performances, the gloves are off so they can actually play their instruments. They could easily rely on playbacks, but they don't. Because you can't be a positive influence on the young if you're not genuine about it. Good on you, Hevisaurus.

    • @PickleJello
      @PickleJello 2 роки тому +4

      But how do they see their instruments? Those suits look like they impair vision. Is it just muscle memory?

    • @terrordarky
      @terrordarky 2 роки тому +35

      @@PickleJello the drummer's got a window in his costume's massive spiked collar. the keyboardist can probably just about see enough through her costume's mouth (after all, it's wide and thin, like a keyboard). and the guitarist and bassist probably don't need the visibility at all

      Yes they are awesome

    • @tuffjonny
      @tuffjonny 6 місяців тому +3

      @@terrordarky really most musicians don't look at the instrument while they play, especially if reading sheet at the same time. I know for me, the only time I'd be looking is if I'm learning some tricky notes or patterns, and after you have the song down you feel what feels right and the positioning of the instrument when you have your hold or base position properly done you can branch off and riff off of that. Otherwise you usually only look if things go wonky. Think about instruments like the flute where you can't look at all since it's out of your field of vision too.

    • @mazabi22

      @@tuffjonny don't know much about playing instruments but walking on a stage with all kinds of obstacles and drop id want as much visibility as possible 😅

    *LYRICS IN ENGLISH:*
    A restless boy can't get to sleep
    when he hears a whisper from the closet.
    Though he should already fall asleep
    he knocks upon the door
    and a magic gate opens.
    Riff Raff on the mountain of warlocks
    plays fiercely on the edge of the crater.
    Mill Pill alike thunder
    pounds the organ in the eye of the storm.
    Comp Momp and Muff Puff
    accompany like a quake of a thousand Richters.
    The dinosaur army starts its march
    when the Heavysaurus goes: Roar!
    The group heads to the mountain
    together with the brave boy
    marching hand in hand
    through vast forests
    until the sky explodes.
    Riff Raff on the mountain of warlocks
    plays fiercely on the edge of the crater.
    Mill Pill alike thunder
    pounds the organ in the eye of the storm.

    This is the world of the first dinosaurs.

Love it that you are bringing children closer to metal with lyrics appropriate for them. There is even a German cover project called "Heavysaurus" which I am thankful for because it lets me imagine what this music is like for Finnish children but the Finnish Version remains the best!

    Tää on jotaki uskomatonta mitä tää bändi on saanu tehtyä!!! The saurus-army takes a march:

    Hevisaurus is a heavy-rock/metal band (a real band mind you) wich target audience is between 2 and 13 yrs old kids. They have sold over 150k albums that is amazing ammount compared to other mainstream artists from finland ( excluding nightwish and HIM). Me and kids went to see their show yesturday and I was totally blown away. Had so much fun and kids loved it too. The shows jokes had funny and "nasty" doublemeanings that only adults can understand.
    Räyh! in it self has no meaning at all. It is just a sound that comes from a screaming dinosaur. Like a "gnarl". -M
