How does extra vacation homes for foreigners in Jamaica effect the cost of living for the locals. Is it a gentrification situation?
Is it not true that to buy/own property you need a TRN?

@@ademoyesodipo4344 Yes it is true,complete the form from the tax office,and carry in a government issued pictorial ID. If overseas, complete a letter of authorization,along with the doc from the Tax office and the pictorial id.

@@ademoyesodipo4344 if you are in the U.S.A there are agencies that can get you your TRN, infact there is a website call coserfltd check them out on Instagram they can help .

It must have changed with how long you can stay in JA for. When I was there in the 80’s and 90’s you could stay for 6 months
