gradient is for the line of the graph drawn, where the prefix is embedded/frozen in the y-axis. However in (d) you are asked to calculate the value of p, which required you to take antilog, including the prefix in the final answer. - Ms Lee.
@@suitlinlee8903 thank you so much I think I attempted 3 or 4 qs, I had the same doubt and I was so confused about this. My mind was about to explode but now it makes sense, thank you soo much teacher!
is ms wrong in (e) theta = root q (100/p). Shouldn't it be 0.10 instead of 100 since we are substituting p and q values into the original eqn so everything's in SI?
If my line of best fit doesn't pass the ranges specified in the mark scheme, for all the calculations after it like the gradient and y-intercept, does that mean I lose the marks there too even if my methods are correct?
Hello! May I know why the 10^-3 on the y axis was not considered when calculating the gradient but considered when finding part (d)?
i have same question...can someone reply..
@@anujasharma1914 got the answer? I think it's a mistake

I was taught absolute uncertainties aree to be written to one significant figure only??? isnt it the case???
@ 30:43 can we use under root with value of -1.43 on both sides instead of log? because still the answer is the same

How to draw an error bar miss ???
Can we mark a plotted point as anomalous before drawing best fit if it looks very sketchy? Also, tysm for all the help

thank you so much 😊 ☺️
why didnt we take 10^-3 while finding gradient at 13:25
Units do not matter in gradient
Hello miss,
Can we use one triangle to get gradients for both best fit, and worst fit lines? Or do we have to draw 2 triangles ( one for each line ).
If you can choose a triangle that cuts through both lines nicely at the corners, then you can just use one triangle!
@@ETphysics alright, thanks 👍
