I worked at Claire's when I was 17. On my first day she handed me a sponge, the piercing gun, and a marker and said here you can practice on this. Then she says I can deny anyone I dont feel comfortable piercing and I refused to pierce baby ears. Do not go to those places, go to a tattoo or piercing shop. It will be clean and heal faster, those guns are toxic I promise you and literally a 17 year old on their first day will be shooting metal on your skin, thank God I'm OCD and cared about even holes.
I got some of my piercings at Claire's and I was fine
