Hotel booking change does not matter, you can show X hotel in PAR and Book Y. No issues

If you don't have a plan to stay then just book a room on agoda select pay at hotel and cancel that after your PAR is approved.

As per my experience hong kong in march will offer you pleasant weather. But still you can check google weather report for more details

You can apply without booking but you have to still fill valid data.. which you can find using internet. And your PAR is valid for a year, so you can travel for a max of 14 days during that validity period

I recently renewed my passport which does not have any tourist visa. Earlier i have travelled to few countries on tourist visa but all those visas r on my old expired passports. So while filling PAR i will need to mention all the counties I have traveled. But do i need to carry all my old passports to show to HK immigration my earlier visas??

Your travel history is visible to them on their systems. But you can carry your older passport to be on safer side.

Hello, I am planning to travel to Hong Kong with my mother in May, do I do this PAR now or after booking flight and hotel? Are there chances that after booking flights, visa is denied? Last question- since my mother will be travelling with me do I submit this online from twice? And in her case how to declare funds since I will be paying for both of us.
There can be chances that visa may get rejected so you can book refundable flights. 1 PAR applies for one person so if 2 of you are going then 2 PAR are required.
If you do planning in may then FILL PAR atleast 10 days before for arrival date

Hi Arun, the address in my passport is of India. But I am a NRI. I have to travel from my country of residence to Hong Kong. What option should I choose for residential address? In India or outside India? If I choose India then I will have to show my country as foreign visit. I sent an email to the enquiry but no reply. For filling HK PAR they ask for hotel address. Does that mean i should show confirmed and paid hotel booking ? Bcos we r not yet sure which area we will b staying in HK

So if you are a resident of some other country then India is a foreign country for you. And you need to fill the correct information in chronological order.

You can apply around 1.5 months back as in case PAR is rejected for some reason then you have time to apply again after making corrections

I am not really sure on ECR requirements, may be call up the embassy and ask for it. For 3 days trip carry equivalent of 70K-80K INR for 2 people and new born.

Ohh. The same process we also did and we got PAR. You can now check with visa agency or can get in contact with embassy and ask for the rejection reason
If you passport place of issue is kolkata, hyderabad, punjab kashmir etc etc PAR will never be successful. No travel agency apples e visa for Hong Kong. I faced it just recently. Please apply e visa. Its 5 week process.

Its NOT FREE for ALL Indians unfortunately. I hv been last Dec and I needed an e visa permit as PAR was unsuccessful.. since many people follow you please provide these additional info which will save the wider audience from last minute issues and extreme anxiety.
1. If passport place of issue is kolkata, punjab, hyderabad,kashmir and many more cities PAR will never be successful. They will need to apply e visa which is FIVE WEEK PROCESS.
2. If the place of birth is not listed though you have option to choose ' others' but suggested to apply e visa to avoid getting detained.
3. If your passport pic in the passport is not clear pls apply e visa. A person travelling with me was detained because of this.

If your PAR is unsuccessful for Hongkong and your ticket is booked. Dont think you can go to Macau with that ticket. I was told that I can go to Macau but that created additional problems for me ie I could not return to HK to take by return flight.
It will take 6 weeks to get HongKong Visit Visa. It is not worth the hassel.
HongKong does not provide any kind of help at all. I suggest you to drop plan to visit HK if PAR is unsuccessful. Also even if PAR is successful, immigration will create all sorts of issues to reject the PAR during immegration. ie any changes in PAR even slightest compared to Passport will be rejected.
I will suggest you to not travel to HongKong. Do not make any bookings at all. Cancel all the booking etc. and plan for thailand or some place else.
Yes, to enter HK you need PAR. You are right each information and spelling should be same as Passport else they will deny the entry.
