One thing to note ; PAR doesn't mean you will get confirm entery in HK. At immigration counter they ask a lot of questions and if they are not satisafy with it then they deport. I have seen by myself even they asked me many questions during my 2 visits in HK.
Our experience is different. They asked minimal questions with us and with our fellow travelers and it took around 3-4 mins

Coin locker facility is available near big buddha. You can keep your luggage there
For 3 people (2 adults and 1 kid), how many octopus cards need to be bought?
1 card per person just like India’s metro service

There are cabs and they are expensive on the other hand, public transport is very well maintained and has great connectivity

Bro main Germany citizens ya, main Australia gaya si othe koi stamp nahi lagi na he Singapore londa, jadon immigration officer tohada passport scan karda hai, jo tuse jithe tervel karya hai sab pata chal janda, hunn all countries stamp band kar rahi hai passport full ho janda.
