Every Finn looks up to these men and women (lotta). There is about 2000 veterans still alive but when they are gone they will be remember forever.
True, we never forget them who fight for our Independence and peace..I have few pictures from the war time,, my father was in Karjala battalion,,and I save those pictures in album that not loose them , he front of bomb machine (same as in video here dont know name of machine)which bombs airplanes,, and I have some other photos .., those pictures are rare and I am proud to keep them. God Bless all the war veterans and all who lost their lives in the war and everyone 🙏❤🇫🇮

This is very emotional for me as well. Every single Finnish person has relatives that fought in Winter War.
Hi Mauro, thank you for sharing this video, thoches me emotionally a lot as my father and grandfather was in the war in Karelia ..my childhood in Karelia too, always visit war memorial monuments/statues , trenches , ect memorial places there in Karjala, we never forget our heros .God Bless war veterans and everyone 🙏❤🇫🇮
I've seen this video before. That didn't stop me from crying. I'm a Finn, in case you didn't already guess it.
These men were all heroes. My grandpa fought in both of our most important wars, and was wounded in both of them. I sadly never got to know him, as he got tuberculosis during the war, which was common. He died of TB before I was born, while he was quite young. What I hear was that he fought relentlessly and was a good father to all of his seven children, before sadly passing away quite young.
I watch your videos and i like that some guy like you like Finland. i am Finnish dude, your videos has positive energy, keep going. You do great work. And i like to say, i honor us veterans they do job what present we cannot image. Thank you!

Finns understand well when someone is honest.or not and really intestered our homeland. . Why so? Because nearly all of our grandfathers and also their brothers left tio fight. with no other reason. This is going from generation to the next, one also young generations. Thank you for following this for some undefined reason. You are honest.

The continuation war was not a defense, but an offensive war was attempted Get the lost limit back with interest 😢
not only to get the lost areas back... but it was a deal with Hitler that we join to operation barbarossa and advance from north meanwhile germans advance from south.. it went well until germans fucked it up when winter came and then it turned defence war for finns once again.
