People are so mean and basic. I found this video to be very helpful! Thank you for taking the time to show us what we might receive before taking a massive loss. This is quite a large expense for someone on disability just trying to earn some money for some scraps of food.
@Frank Wiley Don't waste money buy direct. We operate a store on Overstock and Guest Returns. Paying $350 to $1000 a pallet is insane ! Walmart Liquidations are good but crazy expensive. If people would use common sense on bidding on auctions things would be so much better. Never pay more than 25% of retail price for any given auction. We get Target auctions all the time for 3 to 6% of retail and turn some major profits. Costco Auctions have also been good. You will always pay more for shipping. For example we pay $100 to $800 shipping depending on number of pallets. However we only pay $100 to $500 for the auction itself. Shipping is what kills you. Suggestion to anyone who wants to start doing this is buy multiple auctions. They will combined shipping and give you a credit for it. Saves you some good money on your next purchase.
Why are so many people upset about some minor spelling issues, as if that does not happen to everybody. She posts nice informative videos, i like her she is making a living and inspiring others and i thank her for that.
C S because she is a "salesperson" and if you can't pronounce the item you are selling or you have no idea about what it is; you look like an ignorant jerk.
Ebay does not have a condition category "used - like new", which would probably be the best description for many opened items. However, there are many boxes where it is obvious that the item has never been used. For example, a bread maker where the paddle is still sealed in the factory packaging along with the other accessories. That could properly be listed as "open box - like new" or possibly even "like new". When I list an item, I give a very detailed description of the condition of the box and contents. I also provide plenty of pictures.
Someone paid $500.00 to open boxes to get a tingle in their tummy when they open the boxes. Selling them is secondary. It's like Chrismas morning EVERY time the big box arrives. You go, girl! Whatever it takes. I'm glad for you. And I mean this in a good way. We all do things that make us feel good in life.
Just to be clear, it is against the law to sell something "as new" that was returned unopened. You can sell it as open box new, which implies it was opened but never used. If it was used once it has to be sold as used. Matters not if you have all the parts and boxes. Selling any of this as new (unless it obviously unopened via the factory seal) is fraudulent. This irks me when I get a product that was new and showed up obviously opened or used. THERE IS A REASON THEY ARE RETURNED AND THROWN INTO A D-CONTAINER AND SHIPPED AS SALVAGE. NOT NEW...stop saying you will sell it as new...you cant.
You said up top in a comment that you listed as new or for parts. In this comment you claim used. You're obviously deceiving people in order to sell your junk.
I saw some Star Wars cups from Burger King 1983 selling as new on Ebay. Im sorry but if the shit is used or salvaged or garbage it is deceitful to mark it as new. Btw, pee on me all you want Randy
"I can sell it on Ebay, because I don't have to worry about its condition".....WOW, please give me your Ebay name so I never get stuck buying from you !!!
When I was younger my family would go to pallet auctions every Wednesday night and get huge pallets for like $50-$75 each (we would buy whole trailer loads every time we went) eventually the people doing the auctions stopped doing it (they moved to another city and hired another company to auction and it didn't do well so people stopped coming) and now as I am old enough to do this myself I go to try to find pallets and places near me are selling them for like on average $300 a pallet. I bought one for $150 and 90% was trash. I didn't pay shipping because I bought it from an actual location. I know people say "oh the more expensive pallets you can make good money off of" but I don't just have $300-$600 to gamble on. The retail value doesn't matter if the items are broken with no way to fix them. They still have pallet auctions but it's about 5 hours away from where I live and that's crazy when I'm not sure if the auctions will be cheap enough to get.
I like some of the online pallet sources cause they give you a manifest and usually it is a flat rate shipping fee. Try the goodwill outlets near you they also do pallets.
Bidet = Buh-day. They're a pretty popular plumbing fixture or type of sink intended for washing privates. Great pallat! I'm saving up to purchase my first bulq box.
Wow, there are a lot of petty, trivial ppl on here making insignificant comments about how she pronounced stuff and how she cut open the boxes and what she used to cut them open. I had no idea this video was a training aid on how to properly cut open boxes, what to use, and how to properly pronounce "bidet". Its such a relief that there are so many experts out there to train the rest of us.
If every item was 11$, you would have to sell every item in the box for above 11$+ to be making the money back. I've considered doing this this, but I feel as if it's more of a gamble: Depending all on what you get in your pallet. In your personal opinion, is it worth the investment? And how often are you losing money versus making your money back plus some?
I agree, plus you gotta hope that people are even interested in buying that stuff. I mean she got 5 bread makers. How many people actually buy them? She'll prob sit on a lot of this stuff for a while.
@SUBLIMEKUSH did you really just say die? And people do this all the time not just her? Get over yourself and if you got this off eBay and realized it wasn't new (which you could by the box) you could just return it to the seller and get your money back. Nobody needs to die. Just buy it off amazon or wherever else so you don't have to risk it
Hooked on Pickin' Amazon FBA Seller glad you listed it honestly and did make your money back. Unfortunately too many people would not be as honest as you! God Bless you and yours.
Well I guess you dont sell online then moron, because its definitely not junk...Everything there was a very salable item that will definitely sell for more than she paid...
We have a few "scratch & dent" stores in my area and I go once a week and always score great grocery items (more new than expired or damaged). Sears items galore over the last few months.
My husband worked for a distribution center.( They put pallets together that she bought) there is no guarantee those item will work. Some we're the wrong color. My husband brought home a Keurig. It worked! It was returned to the store, because it was the wrong color. There's a chance she bought a gold mind, but I doubt it.
I've got scammed by someone kinda like you. Who lists products as New on Amazon. BUT. Will have a essential piece missing. Or you have no clue what parts should be included....
Well in earlier posts at the top she said she sold most as new and for parts. Then now on this post she says she sold things as used and for parts. Her story changes so yeah I'm not sure I could trust this seller at all.

That seems extreme. Not ALL re-sellers are bad. I've never received anything from Amazon or E-bay that was listed "like new" that wasn't. I did get a book from Amazon that was represented by a different picture than what the seller sent me. It was about 20 years old, and wasn't an updated version. That's the only item out of many... Don't give up because this person may have offended you.... you're cheating yourself. God bless & good luck!

Nah, the person took back the pee wash before they returned it. Think of women and their bathsuit try on hauls. I know they don't wash those things when they're returned.
We can hope there was good stuff, but we don't know. All she did was take most of the boxes out of the bulk container. Nothing was tested and factory packaging was missing on many items, such as all the bread makers.
Hooked on Pickin' Amazon FBA Seller hello dear. I stumbled across this video and gave you a big thumbs up and subscribed! I'd love to buy a big pallet just for the sheer fun of it. Could you give me some tips on how to get the types of items you received? Like household or electronics? I think you did a fantastic job on your video and I enjoyed watching. Good luck to you in your business. Thank you for any information you might share with me.
Salvaged means used, and usually broken, or a parts missing, sometimes means returned dirty and they aren't cleaning it. Rarely is any salvage new, and when it is, the box is probably damaged.
Seem like the box was taped on the far side when she ripped a door in it to reach in, can't believe anything you see on UA-cam. People will do anything to get you to spend money
of course, it's an advert, salvaged pallets will be the stuff no other serious or larger buyer will ever buy, more often than mot things will be broken or have major missing parts. there's a reason it's sold as salvage, because it can't be sold in any other way.
I worked for an organization for seven years that bought "salvage" from a local retailer. Most, if not all, of it was damaged and returned items. Just because all the parts were there and it was in the original box does not mean you could sell it "like new". If I sold items that way, without testing them first, I would have a lot of irate customers demanding their money back. I've been burned by people in the past that sold items LIKE NEW instead of listing them AS IS. You really should make sure these items are tested before hand. Good haul, though!
Me maybe but i'd bet they'd taste damn good to you because it costed you more money then buying them. That and if it did not taste good then you better act like it lol.
This one just popped up on my feed today. Can't believe how rude some of these comments was. You have become quite adept at the whole unboxing and knowing what items are since this video was made.
I have done pallets for resell clothes. I would sell the hot items quickly and usually get to the break even mark or slightly above, which made it sort of worthwhile. But after considering my time and usually ending up with a huge pile of slow moving clothes leftover, I stopped in favor of other things. So all in all, I have mixed feelings, it wasn't hugely profitable and you really have to hustle to reach that break even point at least. One thing is for sure, there is no such thing as an "unpicked" pallet, you bet you someone has already picked a few choice items out.
She's annoying, it's Hamilton Beach!!! Not Hampton. Also lots of bread makers. Because no one wants bread machines anymore. People are eating less or no bread these days
Bread machines were a novelty. Yes they worked. Yes, was nice to smell fresh bread. But they are a pain in the arse to upkeep, and either you buy the bread pouches, or spend time getting the formula right. One of those use them a couple times, under the counter next to the food processors.
Omg they r all great appliances, I think u made the $500 fir sure ur first 8-12 items put wow just everything u can find n buy hard goods fir sure local sales and online shipping I'm scared lol wow good job thx u so much
There is a reason items are open box. They’ve been returned. And there’s a reason they’ve been returned. They either have defects or do not work. Wait until customers return some or most of this stuff.
minus Taxes, eBay returns, occasional fraud loss and shipping mess not to mention the stress, hours answering consumer Qs and concerns and a bad back. Been there done that in 2003-2007, in the end I was still in the same financial situation and, per a month, eBay made more than I did in commissions.
We have been doing it a side for 9 years now not a living but 2017 was a slow year a lot of family things going on (new Grand babies etc) we netted just over 60k mainly on pallets
Hooked on Pickin' Amazon FBA Seller I wasn't commenting on any of your pronunciations I was just thinking it might be hard to sell a used bidet but I don't know. Anyway cool video thank you
The other option is to buy prescreened pallets. I have a friend, he owns South Georgia Liquidations and he has some pallets that are tested goods. They cost a little more but you know that your buying for about 25 to 30% of retail. Plenty of room for profit for everyone that way. (without the hassle). Be careful, some loads (like walmart loads) are FULL of broken stuff and much harder to make any money on.
grandnasty87 don't be so sure! I've found lots of good, working and even new items, in the dumpster at my storage facility. I've donated hundreds of dollars worth of toys, clothes, books and small appliances that were ALL good. And that doesn't include all that I kept or gave away to friends and relatives. So that said, haven't you ever returned something because it ended up that it wasn't what you wanted or didn't work for your needs? Salvage may also mean a little cosmetic damage that has no affect on how well the item works. You may not be able to sell the item for new, but it certainly isn't necessarily junk... And the Emeril items looks like it could be an air fryer.
Have you ever lost money, just broken even, or made too little money for the effort on a pallet? The Himalayan salt lamps are cheaper per pound than the salt sold for cooking. I wonder if you could grind up a lamp and sell it as culinary salt.
Not surprising how much stuff gets sent to salvage that’s still perfectly fine. Customer returns, discontinued items, boxes accidentally cut or squashed during shipping. Product is still fine, but people don’t like broken packaging. I work in a toy warehouse and you wouldn’t believe the wall of scratch and dent items they get every year. A lot gets donated to charity, but they have a great employee sale for the rest before Christmas and they just unload it all for a tiny percentage of the original cost.
The Term Salvaged will vary from where you buy from. Some stores sell Salvage just to cover their behinds. Same goes for the Term "Guest Returns" They can be brand new over stock.
Not a bad deal. She'll at least break even, but the bread-makers won't sell because Goodwill is loaded with them for a few bucks. The best item is the pressure washer, they work well and it will sell quickly.
People are so mean and basic. I found this video to be very helpful! Thank you for taking the time to show us what we might receive before taking a massive loss. This is quite a large expense for someone on disability just trying to earn some money for some scraps of food.

It's like playing lottery scratch tickets win or lose. Not my type of thing. Would probly get a bunch of used tampons
thanks for watching
Your unfamiliarity with products and terms is adorable in a way. Looks awesome, and lucrative at volume.
i was moving much too fast and i mispronounced many things sorry and thanks for the correction i listed this mostly on ebay and used or for parts condition
Emerald Air Fryer. There's a "bucket" drawer that comes out in the front where you put the food into.
We’ve got one of them battery jumpers in my car and trust me they come in handy!
Thanks for sharing w/ us! Thank You!
thanks
Imagine buying a Bidet on Ebay listed like new or used once. Eeewwwww
Yeah, I think I'd rather the "Biodet"
Nah, the person took back the pee wash before they returned it.
Think of women and their bathsuit try on hauls. I know they don't wash those things when they're returned.
Someone has already gone through and gotten everything of value. You're literally paying someone to get rid of the stuff they don't want.
thanks for the info and thanks for watching
Hooked on Pickin' Amazon FBA Seller I have to apologize. I have no idea about the process. That was me commenting an assumption.
The Mafia trash haulers pick through it first this is the leftovers from compactors and dumpsters
We can hope there was good stuff, but we don't know. All she did was take most of the boxes out of the bulk container. Nothing was tested and factory packaging was missing on many items, such as all the bread makers.
@@cadechristopher6456 its so nice to see someone acknowledge their rush to judgement and apologize accordingly. THANK YOU!!!
I LIKE THE WHOLE IDEA AND ESPECIALLY YOUR HARD WORK.THE LAST THING THAT YOU TOOK OUT IN red, I think that is Air Fryer!! Was it?
yes i believe that was an air fryer
Hooked on Pickin' Amazon FBA Seller hello dear. I stumbled across this video and gave you a big thumbs up and subscribed! I'd love to buy a big pallet just for the sheer fun of it. Could you give me some tips on how to get the types of items you received? Like household or electronics? I think you did a fantastic job on your video and I enjoyed watching. Good luck to you in your business. Thank you for any information you might share with me.
Hooked on Pickin' Amazon FBA Seller we’re all those boxes really bread machines?
LOL, by “Emerald”! I hear he’s a great chef! 🙄
Salvaged means used, and usually broken, or a parts missing, sometimes means returned dirty and they aren't cleaning it. Rarely is any salvage new, and when it is, the box is probably damaged.
i sold most as parts or repair
nice set up
everything is viewable and the camera person is classic home video mode.. not a bad thing
nice work guys
"HamPTON Beach". That's 3 strikes...You're out!
thanks for the correction I
have had many comments about my mispronunciation I am glad it was entertaining
I have corrected it in future videos
At least you know how to copy and paste.
Wonder if she was shocked when she found out what a bidet actually was haha
thanks
for the correction I have had many comments about my mispronunciation I am glad
it was entertaining I have corrected it in future videos
ain't never washed there????? Just sayin....
For a SALVAGE Pallet, you've scored EXTREMELY well! I might roll the dice 1day...MIGHT!
Good Stuff!👍
thanks for watching
Seem like the box was taped on the far side when she ripped a door in it to reach in, can't believe anything you see on UA-cam.
People will do anything to get you to spend money
of course, it's an advert, salvaged pallets will be the stuff no other serious or larger buyer will ever buy, more often than mot things will be broken or have major missing parts. there's a reason it's sold as salvage, because it can't be sold in any other way.
T. Tabu Thomas don’t do it! I got screwed on mine. It’s a roll of the dice that I’m not willing to take again.
Good haul, though!
i sold most as used or for parts
Ah, now I see what she means about the first time she tried to say Bidet! 🤷♀️ She did a great job, and I agree we learn as we go! 🤗🙏❤️
*Opens up pallet* Discovers full of Lays chips.
?
That would be a bitch :D lol
importedmusic I'd be very happy with that 🙄
A full pallet of delicious potato chips.. My first thought might be, "amazon can wait a week, this here is serious business!"
Me maybe but i'd bet they'd taste damn good to you because it costed you more money then buying them. That and if it did not taste good then you better act like it lol.
Lol.. so now I know what Amazon/Costco does with all the used craps folks return years later... she buys them and makes $5 an item on fleabay...
thanks for watching
Quit throwing stuff around so irritating.
thanks for watching and commenting
Deborah Ingrim u
Deborah is right... y r ya upset by that??!!!
Reading the comments about your pronunciation of bidet in itself is HILARIOUS and the definitions of its functions are priceless. Made me laugh !!!!
i know it has been super entertaining for me as well thanks for commenting and watching
This one just popped up on my feed today. Can't believe how rude some of these comments was. You have become quite adept at the whole unboxing and knowing what items are since this video was made.
Thank you for your kind comments and Thank you for watching
You should keep the blood pressure reader ...
i actually did lol
Lol!
LMFAO
If it is salvage, doesn't that mean most of the stuff is broken?
sometimes but i sell most for parts
no that pallet can tip over and be claimed salvage
Get Paper That’s not true. Stores don’t get rid of things that easily. It has to be something that they can’t return to the manufacturers.
SSanf no it is usually return items people just took back sometimes they are broken
Were u happy with the salvaged after u tested everything and the sales on it?
I made a profit but it was a lot more work than i thought but I made a bunch without risking too much capital
Hooked on Pickin' Amazon FBA Seller - Gotta be more profit for less work than doing Avon, etc.
Pocahontas Smith she didn't test any of it. She puts it on eBay with a "no returns" policy I'm sure.
One thing is for sure, there is no such thing as an "unpicked" pallet, you bet you someone has already picked a few choice items out.
yes i did
What's the deal here? you buy crap that's already broke then chuck it about a bit then sell it?
thanks for watching
Watched about 2 mins realized this is bullshit and got myself outa here.
It’s pronounced “bee-day” LOL!
are you going to test All the Electronics because Salvage usually means that it's not working I wish you luck I hope everything is working
yes i usually test everything
probably sells as is, no return and passes on broken stuff to unsuspecting customers. this is EXACTLY why I only buy new, on Amazon.
Brittney K she said she’s gonna list some of this stuff as new!!!
You can tell she was happy to see the pressure washer as her eyes sparkled and smile brightened.
Thanks for watching
Got some cool stuff. Well worth over $500. Those portable bidets are great for cleaning your lady parts! WhooHoo!
thanks
for the correction I have had many comments about my mispronunciation I am glad
it was entertaining I have corrected it in future videos
She comes across as harsh she one of those folk that won’t budge 50 cent at the swamp meet
well it is my money and i know how much of it i have. thanks for watching
They always the ppl that have the same stuff two months later when you walk by. But that’s their choice.
47 items equals 60 hours of listing, packing, shipping....
Victor Arnett who cares. That’s money made in your spare time.
Omg they r all great appliances, I think u made the $500 fir sure ur first 8-12 items put wow just everything u can find n buy hard goods fir sure local sales and online shipping I'm scared lol wow good job thx u so much
thanks for watching
Lilly V Gutierrez the way she is tossing everything around...she won't make a dime
There is a reason items are open box. They’ve been returned. And there’s a reason they’ve been returned. They either have defects or do not work. Wait until customers return some or most of this stuff.
thanks for watching
Great pallet! By the way, the toilet item is a bidet (bid-DAY) and it attaches to your toilet and water comes out and cleans your private parts.
Thanks
3:35 lol at not knowing what a bidet is. It saves you from the mess, hemorrhoids, and UTI's of using toilet paper. 😁
lol i finally figured that out and realized i was saying it wrong too. at least i am entertaining lol
Yep it's a very refreshing clean investment,💅☝😰😵💩🛀👫👍
Drew Conway I thought it was hilarious too
Emerald Le glass heater = Emeril Lagasse air fryer
thanks
skeeboo32 it was kinda funny though
Yep it's for washing your bum.
thanks
Leo Ryan
... Mick Dundee
Leo Ryan ...and for most women, Yahoo!!
You have some nice stuff ! Good luck with the sales!
thanks
Wow...You scored big on this box. The bread maker alone is fantastic.
How much profit did you make?
i think i doubled my money that i actually paid for the pallet.
Hooked on Pickin' Amazon FBA Seller thank you! I was searching for something else and stumbled upon this.
minus Taxes, eBay returns, occasional fraud loss and shipping mess not to mention the stress, hours answering consumer Qs and concerns and a bad back.
AAT termite where did you buy the pallets from, Target?
Im sure used bidets sell for big bucks lol
thanks for the correction I
have had many comments about my mispronunciation I am glad it was entertaining
I have corrected it in future videos
Hooked on Pickin' Amazon FBA Seller I wasn't commenting on any of your pronunciations I was just thinking it might be hard to sell a used bidet but I don't know. Anyway cool video thank you
Hooked on Pickin' Amazon FBA Seller thx for proving that you also lack comprehension skills
Dann G lost my lunch!!
200 bucks pallet? What the f? It's a cardboard pallet..
thanks for watching
👏🏻I like the way you open the boxes you were very fast-😃😀🙌🏻
Love what you do and how you explain how it all works..Thank You
Thanks
Nice treasure hunting
thanks
Wait but do these things work? Are they not salvaged?
Some did and the rest i sold as parts only
Oh I see. I went to bulq.com and its so tempting because im sure its fun to open it up and get new goodies!! Then I chickened out lol
lol it has to be a real commitment well don't worry i open enough boxes you can just watch what i get :)
11 dollars an item plus your 300 dollars for shipping
thanks
Just curious - how d'ya make out? Gotta love the box cutter you're using. Good luck.
i made my money back and then some but i sold a lot for parts
The other option is to buy prescreened pallets. I have a friend, he owns South Georgia Liquidations and he has some pallets that are tested goods. They cost a little more but you know that your buying for about 25 to 30% of retail. Plenty of room for profit for everyone that way. (without the hassle). Be careful, some loads (like walmart loads) are FULL of broken stuff and much harder to make any money on.
thanks for the tip
Give her a break she’s from the United States
Wow bunch of junk
thanks for watching
grandnasty87 don't be so sure!
BIDGET? HAMPTON? OMG...plus the way she throws those items everywhere. I hope I never buy from her.
Please forgive my comments yesterday, was not nice, but love your joy opening your pallets!! Sorry for my apparent snippy attitude.
thanks for watching
You got a good pellet!, the power washer, the bread maker and the juicer!, you already got your money back👍
Yes, Jesus wins! Awesome comment.
thanks for watching
What does he win? I hope it's not Skittles.
What does that mean?
Looks like a great bid, but how much for shipping?
Have you ever lost money, just broken even, or made too little money for the effort on a pallet? The Himalayan salt lamps are cheaper per pound than the salt sold for cooking. I wonder if you could grind up a lamp and sell it as culinary salt.
Yes this does happen from time to time. You have to be picky about the boxes and pallets that you purchase
A lot gets donated to charity, but they have a great employee sale for the rest before Christmas and they just unload it all for a tiny percentage of the original cost.
thanks for the info and thanks for watching
Question when you do your pallet how offers you do yards sell from your pallet ?
I thought “Salvage” items meant it was broken or can really only be used for parts? To save some pieces..hmm, cool
The Term Salvaged will vary from where you buy from. Some stores sell Salvage just to cover their behinds. Same goes for the Term "Guest Returns" They can be brand new over stock.
Nerdtopia Baby me too. I just learned something new lol.
Does salvage just mean it’s been opened? I thought it meant item was broken. Thank you for sharing and taking the time to make videos.
Great items in that box, I had considered this a few years back, considering it again since watching your video.
you can do it
Bidèt or Bidet Is pronounced like Ba-day. Thanks for sharing your box, it was fun!!
Not a bad deal. She'll at least break even, but the bread-makers won't sell because Goodwill is loaded with them for a few bucks. The best item is the pressure washer, they work well and it will sell quickly.
i did pretty good
