Trey Lance seems to be working out on his throwing mechanics very well & I'm glad it's paying off for him, also as for Brock Purdy he's our clear QB number 1 starter.

Now it's, "oh he can throw the ball 10 yards further than Brock" as if thats what makes a good QB. JaMarcus Russell & Kyle Boller could throw a ball 70 yards on their knees and they fkn sucked. Some of the biggest busts of all time were from chasing strong arms. Aside from the 2 names I mentioned a few others come to mind including Ryan Leaf, Josh Freeman, JP Losman, and Treys biggest comparison Akili Smith (both were 3rd overall picks, both are very inaccurate, both have strong arms, both are barely able to be used as runners, both only played 1 year of college, and both fail to generally move the chains and put points on the board because they struggle with field vision which leads to them holding the ball forever).

Brock has a more natural reaction to pressure and makes quicker reads but he can only pass to his left, unless he can correct this he's going to have a tough season.

Brock looked great in week 1. As a Broncos fan, he looked better than Wilson. He had good timing, eyes up field, made several plays with his feet. He handled pressure well, took some hits and still delivered a strike.
