    The offense the 9'ers have built. The QB does not need a rocket arm. They need to have a quick release and be accurate and read a defense and screen the field !

    • @Based_investor
      @Based_investor Рік тому +6

      What I find hilarious is that the argument for Lance used to be, "his dynamic athleticism will unlock the offense with his dual threat ability." Well, it turned out he was actually kinda slow. Now it's, "oh he can throw the ball 10 yards further than Brock" as if thats what makes a good QB. JaMarcus Russell & Kyle Boller could throw a ball 70 yards on their knees and they fkn sucked. Some of the biggest busts of all time were from chasing strong arms. Aside from the 2 names I mentioned a few others come to mind including Ryan Leaf, Josh Freeman, JP Losman, and Treys biggest comparison Akili Smith (both were 3rd overall picks, both are very inaccurate, both have strong arms, both are barely able to be used as runners, both only played 1 year of college, and both fail to generally move the chains and put points on the board because they struggle with field vision which leads to them holding the ball forever).

    • @jonathandutra4831
      @jonathandutra4831 Рік тому

      @Based_investor When Lance was the QB last year George Brittle was hurt and we had no RB. CMC came to the 49ers and turned our whole franchise around. He led the team in Rushing yards & Recieving yards. Who does that ? Who does that and does not even get mentioned ? Lol
      All they talk about is Purdy who's stats are average at best !

    • @Based_investor
      @Based_investor Рік тому +3

      @@jonathandutra4831 of course it gets mentioned all the time, but the funny thing is that Jimmy with CMC averaged 25 ppg. Thats pretty good. Brock averaged 32. That's a full TD more per game than Jimmy. For reference, if the last ranked offense in the league averaged 7 more ppg they would become a top 10 scoring offense. If the number 13 ranked offense (the Raiders) had scored 7 more ppg they would've been the number 1 scoring offense. Thats how incredibly huge 7 points per game is. The 32.6 ppg that Purdy put up would be a top 20 all time scoring record, tied with the 2006 super bowl champ Manning led Colts.

      Trey can be used exactly like Jalen Hurts in a run 1st play action type offense, it will simplify things for him until he can get acclimated and allow him to put on display his versatility. Brock has a more natural reaction to pressure and makes quicker reads but he can only pass to his left, unless he can correct this he's going to have a tough season.

      @@sheraldhill2728 Their careers are already fucked! If Purdy doesn’t pan out or doesn’t have the success last season. You trade three first round picks for this kid. the kid didn’t do anything wrong he broke his ankle. How do you go from? He’s your franchise starter last season, breaking his ankle and then handing it to Brock based off the games he played. Trey asked for a chance to compete and he’s not even getting that. He’s competing with Sam for number 2. They gave up too Quickly. If they fall short again they need to be fired. 7 years and you still haven’t figured out the most important position. And I’m not a fan of either or I don’t care who starts i just want 6 Niners come first. But Brock will never be a top 5 quarterback.
