This game was literally my childhood. I spent like 2 days straight playing all day trying trying beat that Sid level. Even my grandma played it with me to try to beat it. Played it so much that I would see that level whenever I closed my eyes. First game that I beat from start to finish. At least that I remember anyway
Admittedly, I loved this game as a kid and I still do. Ideky. I guess the music was nice and the atmosphere looked pretty decent for a PS2 game and Scrat's design also looks better than most PS2 characters. At least they tried with the fur. Then again Over The Hedge for PS2 is also an old favorite of mine even if it takes its own direction from the movie.
It's genuinely a well designed game with tight controls, beautiful level design, satisfying sound effects, some really great music, and _incredible_ character animation

I find it funny that Chris Wedge isn't just the voice of Scrat in all of his appearances, he's either the director or executive producer of every one of Blue Sky's movies.
Now, I know the game is being rendered at like, the max settings in the emu, but it just REALLY goes to show how impressive these late 6th gen could look. This could easily have been a very low budget ps3 launch title.
I remember this game! Actually, I used to play it many times a day when I were alone, it got to the point where I just knew what to do and where to go, so I could beat the game 2 or 3 times a day, it was so fun
That game has a great soundtrack. My favorite part is the sloth map where you have to do different tasks for the sloths cause the music is great and well fitting to the map and the vibe that the design of that map gives me.
Only because Disney bought 20th century fox the company that owned blue sky animation studios and Disney clearly didn't want a second animation studio.
@@SasquaDash Yeah I know that the first three are pretty good but I really hate 4 and 5 they shoud've stopped with three, that's why I though spies in disguise was gonna be awful, the only reason I decided to rent it was because I like Will Smith and I like Tom Holland, but then when I turned it on it was just so good and I desprately wanted a second one, me and my cousin even came up with a good impactful story, but I guess Disney is going to just shut it all down supposedly

I thought the visuals of The Meltdown game could be really pretty, and I liked the sound design. I wish it could’ve followed the plot more closely but it was okay. I remember the final level having absolutely nothing to do with the actual ending of the game.
