Saw and listened to him yesterday in Lucerne performing the first piano concerto by Liszt. What a performer! Impressive musical depth, especially considering his age. I'm still in a state of bliss.

Es scheinen im Moment große Pianisten im Kommen zu sein. Yoga Levanon ist ein Beweis dafür. Es gibt keine Schwierigkeiten für ihn und der musikalischen Bogen des Themas geht selbst bei den virtuosesten und akrobatischsten Passagen nicht verloren. Ein Genuss ihn sich anzuhören. Übrigens gäbe er eine gute Figur filmisch den Franz Liszt darzustellen :-)😊

Beautiful. But I can never hear this now without thinking of Yanni Tan playing in time to a Tom and Jerry cartoon involving Tom playing this on a piano. I've found this as I've just seen Levanon playing one of Chopin's etudes - possibly no 12. What dynamic control. Stunning!
