Hiei Is Immune to fire, He's a Fire demon(Literrally he can get scorched and the only thing that will show signs of damage is his outfit. So no Amaterasu. Guy Shattered Susanoo, and Toguro from the Dark Tournament was Way stronger than Guy in terms of Striking Power(Even lifted a fresh stadium when the old one was damaged only using 1 hand and 30% his maximum power) And Hiei is a S class demon at the end of the series, He could take on 100 Toguro's, at the same time EOS. Koenma stated for a Fact a S class could easily destroy earth. Yusuke and Sensui's fight in the demon world sent shockwaves clean to earth causing a massive earthquake. Demon world is more durable, Hence why its even still around. Hiei's Jagan eye allows Hiei to see through illusions. Sharigan capabilities halfed. Normal demons would go insane just from looking into his Jagan Eye. Theres a reason he keeps it covered. He can even control peoples minds with it as well. Hiei is Hypesonic speed. He has several feats of him casually blitzing foes. Most foes don't even realize they've been cut. Durablity. Hiei purposely lost his arm, and got cut in half and recovered, Demons have higher durability than humans. They dont even have beating hearts. I thought the same at one point but then saw sasuke in action and I can tell you dispite hiei notable strengths sasuke is very well equipped to take someone like him on. however there were some sketchy part of this battle that I couldn't fully conclude on like whether hiei dragon can be controlled by the sharingan or whether amateratsu can damage hiei or whether Hiei can outrun sasuke kirin but hopefully the conclusion is the most understandable for anyone who watches these shows
daddyGbaby I can see why there would be confusion haha. One thing people don't know is that Sasuke's entire character was based off of Hiei, so there are definitely a ton of similarities. Personally I think that Hiei would be safe from Amaterasu and that Sasuke couldn't control the Dragon, but I also think Hiei couldn't dodge the kirin. Dark Tourney Hiei is a great match for Sasuke. Personally, I think Hiei would have won either way. The Dragon of the Darkness Flame could quite literally burn any other flame and he’s far stronger than Sasuke, and he has more stamina due to the fact he fought A-Class Demons for 6 months (if I’m correct). And Hiei counters anything Sasuke has.

It's extremely hard to say who would actually win as a result of this match up because sasuke's moves really are just flashy, effective but flashy. Hiei on the other hand is fast, strong and witty. You may be right that Lightning does have a searing effect, and other animated medias have compared Fire and Lightning (like Iroh from "Avatar" calling Lightning the "Cold Blooded Fire"), Their still completely different in their make-ups, and how they effect other organisms. Fire burns things to death, and while Lightning Generates heat, and can create fire, Lightning doesn't burn things to death (unless with Constant and Repeated Exposure, like with the Electric Chair), and mostly damages Inner Organs, and causes Organ Failure, and other Comic, Cartoon, and Anime Characters use it differently. Some use it as a Speed increase, some as a defense, some as a force increaser; Sasuke uses it as a increase in Precision and Power for his Chidori(s) (which stabs and slashes people) and Kirin (which can even slightly overpower the Nine-Tails). *Fouth, Hiei has actually been physically damaged by Lightning based attacks, including that lightning attack from Kuro Momotaro that brought everyone to that stupid conclusion that Hiei was immune to Lightning in the first place. But comparing Kuro's Lightning Attack to Sasuke's Chidori and Kirin, is like comparing a taser to the Galaxy Sized Storm in Thor's hammer that can Shake Black Holes. *Fifth, With Sasuke's Power, Strength, Kirin, and other Offensive Options, he is more than able to overpower the Dragon of the Darkness Flame. And with Sasuke's Durability, Techniques, Abilities, Countless Defensive Options, Training, Precognition, Mind Reading, Energy Draining (assuming Sasuke and Hiei can drain each others Energy, because both Chakra and Chi are very similar [not saying they can, just saying, it can be possible]), Teleportation, Position Swapping, Almighty Push, Substitution Jutsu, Dimension Hopping, and Blitzing Speed, he is more than able to Survive a Strike from, or dodge the Dragon. Sasuke can also just paralyze hiei with Lightning and electrocute him. Or instant Genjutsu before hiei even take the bandages off, Its in Sasuke's character to fight like this. Hiei can fight dirty. This is one fight I would love death battle to do and Hiei is one of my favorite characters ever, even inspiring a character of my own -- Cory Fang. All that aside, Hiei wins this pretty easily. In terms of strength, Hiei was able to match Buoi (not sure if I spelled it right) and by the end of series, Hiei was S Class. Keep in mind Toguro punched a crater and he was only B Class. Hiei was faster than Yusuke and Yusuke dodged lightning, easily blitzing Sasuke. Hiei is more durable too as he was cut in half and survived. Hiei's jagon eye sees through illusions and he's mastered The Darkness Flame so Sasuke's amataresu and sharigon is meaningless. Hiei easily wins this fight.
Hiei would destroy EMS Sasuke imo. Sasuke’s greatest weapon, Amaterasu would be useless against Hiei. Genjutsu probably wouldn’t work against the Jigan eye well. The only things that can really get Hiei are Susanoo and Kirin, but if Hiei absorbs dragon of the darkness flame then I doubt that those could generate enough power to hurt him since when that technique was used on an opponent that was stronger than Hiei’s strongest attack before, that same opponent couldn’t even phase Hiei with his attacks and got beaten in 2 hits

I thought the same at one point but then saw sasuke in action and I can tell you dispite hiei notable strengths sasuke is very well equipped to take someone like him on. however there were some sketchy part of this battle that I couldn't fully conclude on like

Personally, I think Hiei would have won either way. The Dragon of the Darkness Flame could quite literally burn any other flame and he’s far stronger than Sasuke, and he has more stamina due to the fact he fought A-Class Demons for 6 months (if I’m correct). And Hiei counters anything Sasuke has.
Amaterasu burns anything either. Otherwise I agree EMS Sasuke may lose High-Diff
But… End-Shippuden Sasuke has batter feats than Hiei in my opinion.

*Second, if you watch the show, Sasuke uses Lightning a whole hell of a lot more than he uses Lightning. Like 75%/25% at Least. And that's not even including his Rinnegan or EMS Hax abilities, which he uses about 65% of the time.
*Third, Lighning and Fire are completely different. You may be right that Lightning does have a searing effect, and other animated medias have compared Fire and Lightning (like Iroh from "Avatar" calling Lightning the "Cold Blooded Fire"), Their still completely different in their make-ups, and how they effect other organisms. Fire burns things to death, and while Lightning Generates heat, and can create fire, Lightning doesn't burn things to death (unless with Constant and Repeated Exposure, like with the Electric Chair), and mostly damages Inner Organs, and causes Organ Failure, and other Comic, Cartoon, and Anime Characters use it differently. Some use it as a Speed increase, some as a defense, some as a force increaser; Sasuke uses it as a increase in Precision and Power for his Chidori(s) (which stabs and slashes people) and Kirin (which can even slightly overpower the Nine-Tails).
*Fouth, Hiei has actually been physically damaged by Lightning based attacks, including that lightning attack from Kuro Momotaro that brought everyone to that stupid conclusion that Hiei was immune to Lightning in the first place. But comparing Kuro's Lightning Attack to Sasuke's Chidori and Kirin, is like comparing a taser to the Galaxy Sized Storm in Thor's hammer that can Shake Black Holes.

*Sixth, don't assume that you know me. I'm actually a bigger fan of Yu Yu Hakusho than Naruto. The only thing I don't like about Yu Yu Hakusho, are the Outliers, and how I (personally) can't really enjoy anything after the Sensui Saga because I'm to busy thinking about all the Outliers and trying to see if there is any actual proof to back up these statements. And on top of that, you don't even get to see most of the Demon World Tournaments fights. So calling me a, quote-on-quote "Narutard Fanboy", just makes you look like an Ass.

He even didn't want Naruto to clone and constantly kicked his hands away preventing him to use Shadow clones. Sasuke can also just paralyze hiei with Lightning and electrocute him. Or instant Genjutsu before hiei even take the bandages off,
Its in Sasuke's character to fight like this. Hiei can fight dirty. But he does fight with honor and starts playing around or testing his opponents first.
Sasuke also fights battles Strategically. And just trick hiei with Transformation jutsu's or clones. He can trap hiei and tied him up. And then Hiei is stuck.

This is one fight I would love death battle to do and Hiei is one of my favorite characters ever, even inspiring a character of my own -- Cory Fang.
All that aside, Hiei wins this pretty easily. In terms of strength, Hiei was able to match Buoi (not sure if I spelled it right) and by the end of series, Hiei was S Class. Keep in mind Toguro punched a crater and he was only B Class.
Hiei was faster than Yusuke and Yusuke dodged lightning, easily blitzing Sasuke. Hiei is more durable too as he was cut in half and survived. Hiei's jagon eye sees through illusions and he's mastered The Darkness Flame so Sasuke's amataresu and sharigon is meaningless.
Hiei easily wins this fight.
Hiei would destroy EMS Sasuke imo. Sasuke’s greatest weapon, Amaterasu would be useless against Hiei. Genjutsu probably wouldn’t work against the Jigan eye well. The only things that can really get Hiei are Susanoo and Kirin, but if Hiei absorbs dragon of the darkness flame then I doubt that those could generate enough power to hurt him since when that technique was used on an opponent that was stronger than Hiei’s strongest attack before, that same opponent couldn’t even phase Hiei with his attacks and got beaten in 2 hits
