My favorite part of summer was our week stay at a beach house in the Outer Banks, NC. So beautiful. This time we also made sure to stop at some of the National Parks to get our books stamped. And my favorite part of the trip was eating at a local seafood bar on ocean. Just magical! ❤

The $34 lunch would've shocked me to the point of gasping-for-breath laughter, lol...and no way would I hand over a twenty for a smoothie! After seeing those food prices, I'm almost afraid to ask...how much was that pre-loved TN cover that was SOOOO cool?
Like the “max”- minimal style 🥤and yes for a one-time thing I would spend the money on the smoothie 🤑 then journal about it so I could keep the memory - more bang for my buck!

I was just listening to an interview this morning with a guy called Roland Allen who has just released a book about the history of notebooks and he talked about a ‘friendship journal’ that was basically a book you got friends or professors etc to write in and it became an early networking thing, but I couldn’t get over the sweetness of having a book for your friends to write in. And then I saw your friend page and I squealed hahaha. Love those kinds of coincidences!
I love this vlog Job - fun time! I could not handle $19 smoothie - I like to make my own at home. or $34 take out. BK I would not be able to exit with any money left in my wallet. So glad I do not live close to that store. I seem to be able with withstand the on line orders phew! A Q for you: These times of travel and social fun seem like they have been so cool (like mountain top experiences). Some times they come so fast and furious its hard to process it all. How do you balance the super fun times with "normal" every day or even low days? Do you write in another private journal and just do visual documentation for super fun times? I am revising my approach for 2025 and practicing now which is why I ask.
Did you say that the passport size custom Traveler's Notebook cover was $200.00? That is a lot of cash but it did look very cool. I would not pay $19.00 for a smoothy but I would pay that for 2 pints of Newcastle and a couple of slices of good pizza.🍕🍺
