Bro, this is new hate, bandwagon hate. I grew up in the 70s. No one hated the 74, 75, or 76 to79 corvette. It's people like you who are adding b/% to something that isn't even true. The Pinto, the Mopars of the later 70s, Mustang 74 to 82, and Camero 74-85 were not as popular and in all actually were ugly and had no horsepower. The C2s, most didn't have horsepower and handled like a turd. Learn or go into another business.
@mikeholland1031 No, especially the early years. Truthfully, a lot of people didn't even know anything about the C2. They were hardly on the road. Now, people act like they were popular, and they are, to me, not that attractive. But each to own.
Weren't there some Corvettes in the mid 70s with 305s? Possibly California spec? Seems I recall something about that from back in the day but I could be wrong.
@@hughjass1044 I stroked my 1985 Corvette, superram intake, headers, high stall converter. My mechanic friend took it for a drive and it lit the tires up at............70. 60 to 130 in 6 seconds (a scat pack takes over 9.5 seconds).
Got a '79 Corvette with an l48 350 in it. Normally these were slow, but someone before me added some pep to it with headers, holley carb, cam, and they added some racing bushings for better handling. I love my corvette and I love any C3 year excluding the '80s C3's.

Seventies corvettes are about style, I own a1980 L82,it's not slow,it's a corvette and it's red,try to buy one in ten more years.
No kidding. I've been saving a half a year for one. But i want a 94 to 96

Zara did not ‘invent’ the Corvette. He was working for GM when the 1953 Cotvette debuted.

C3 is a nice car . Same as any 80’s car though the engine needs to be rebuilt or thrown out and replace.
