    Thank you for explaining the whole process at the molecular level in such a concise manner! I also wanted to know how K+ are replenished in the cell to prepare next round of contraction?

    I always had the question if Ca has a +2 charge and K has a +1 would half the amount of Ca need to be influxed to maintain the plateau?
