Maybe Erarlumo (rekka) from older versions could've been on there but I don't think any of Ram's special moves are super strong individually, it's more about how they function together in her kit. The exception to this is Bajoneto (sword toss) which was left off because resource.
Mist Finer going unnoticed by everyone. (Although it's hard to rank because it interacts with another move, and that's a big part of what makes it so good.)
Kapel had to be close to making the cut right? It's basically the reverse of half the moves that made the list; a hitbox with advancing movement instead at the end, plus the disjoint, projectile property and ability to combo afterwards into oki.
Very surprised to not see Rainwater make it (though it shows up in the intro, so, considered, perhaps?). Very hard for most of the cast to meaningfully punish, a difficult animation to react to, and requires a hard callout to beat even though it won't lead to much. It's also a full pressure reset if blocked and has solid reward on a hit.
Rainwater is more of a knowledge check Imo, it’s not really that good on block if your opponent just faultless defenses unless you wild assault after. Plus it doesn’t really get you good mix on block, or put you in mid screen or full screen where axl is best.
I really wanted to put rainwater in the list but it barely got cut. Specifically in the context of on Axl it's a bit worse than it could be and there are just a lot of broken moves in this game lmao
Honestly, as a Sol player Im really happy that someone finally got right why BR is such a busted move. Because I never got why people called it broken, except the FRC giving a free high low part, so its refreshing to finally see someone actually explain why. And I agree, the versatility and combination of properties on BR make it really difficult to deal with and make Sol a much better character. I think when I think about it, the most important Sol buff by far was the one where they made BR a rekka, because that allowed for all of that versatility and turned a move that if you got hit by that was it without RC into a move that, depending on situation could go into a full conversion meterlessly. Couple that with being able to make it safe/safer with spacing and the fact that you get a uninterruptible high low 50/50 that can potentially lead into the game, which also has dozens of reset points and even makes BR1 > Reset sorta usable due to the threat of the RC, and yeah I can absolutely see why people say its that broken. I think its gotten slightly worse with the universal rekka change, but it still has everything that makes Sols conversions so strong and the FRC 50/50 is still there. And due to the existence of WA, Sol can now create guess from game sequences from blocking a single button given enough resources and/or previously accumulated RISC on the opponent. So I think that a small nerf to BR but a massive buff to pressure makes that even more degenerate and easy to get into. BR FRC is truly a drug.
Color me impressed that Tatami mat or Joe Johnson didn't make it. Also I get none of A.B.A install moves and H.C, Bedman, Asuka, etc not being there... But how come Goldlewis drone gets a pass when it's literally linked to his security meter

Dolphin S is only REALLY good on Counter hit. On normal hit May is +0 and cant really push any feasable RPS. On block she either loses the RPS or is neutral at best if the oponent just presses 2p after it. It neutral skips at a very high risk as getting touched means a CH in the air into combo most of the times, is usually used very sparringly this way. With split and cancel she gets to do some shenanigans like avoiding most 6ps but is *very* reactable. With meter fprc after dolphin gives an amazing mix up so that's really strong but S dolphin, despite being great I wouldn't put it on top of the list at all, but perhaps spot number 7 or so. I would prefer mappa hunch way more than dolphin tbh. H dolphin is really niche. On blockstrings its a nice ender leaving you +7 but *really* spaced, specially on FD. It's really good still but its very reactable and not being able to fully reset with C.S from it is arguably not great but I'm willing to hear opinions. In neutral is weird beucause its very reactable but with Split you get to do some unexpected mix ups or bait 6ps even better compared with S dolphin. Probably one of the better characteristics of dolphin which you didnt mention (probably because it's kinda niche by how hard is to input and situational) is that you can kara cancel the first frames of split and dolphin cancel into orca. This is good with H dolphin because it being so reactable and telegraphed usually makes other people press slower buttons as a reaction and you can orca them. A lof of yapping here but I wanted to give my input. If this was S2 dolphin would probably be the best special *by far* just by the RPS alone getting you dumb wallbreaks of 60% damage just because you pressed the wrong button vs May while she is favoured. Now in S3 I think is a needed tool for May and really great but it doesn't give you the win at all by default and the Risk Reward is much more balanced IMO Edit: grammar

Everytime spin is mentioned somebody who has no idea who they’re talking about inevitably goes “well, you can punish its recovery” and they’re wrong everytime
@@ThePoodle Call me bad (I am bad), but it's the fact that you're gambling that it's not Fuujin/etc with the animation being the same. The duration being variable also makes it harder to challenge too. That said, I've never really tried to aim for the recovery punish; I could definitely try that in the future.

Thank you for your input MayGGST
To be roleplaying May and not have pride in her strength, to downplay her, is sinful. I'd rather be carried by May than be good at the game with any other character. I'm proud to say she's too strong, and to say she's the only character I could win with, because I wouldn't want to win if I wasn't playing her. Harden your resolve and abandon your gamer ego, MayGGST.
