Hey there. Kara’s janitor here. I clean their hideouts and I sort of manage their equipments and stuff. I didn’t believe you, so I casually time travelled back in time while taking out the garbage and I stomped the entire Akatsuki.
Yea, I did have to try a little, but it was pretty easy. I used my vacuum cleaner and mop for most of the fights.

Yes he was making sure he didn’t hit the kids, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t trying to actively beat her. He would have no reason to slow down or pull his punches. She didn’t just keep up with Naruto, she traded blows with him. She lands multiple hits on Naruto. Even after Naruto got pissed off after she put Himawari in danger and started fighting her out of rage, she was still able trade blows and land hits on him. There are multiple panels where they are literally going blow for blow. He was getting tired. Naruto, the guy with near infinite chakra was getting tired. Even fused Momoshiki didn’t push him that hard. I don’t know why people think a character not trying to kill someone means they’re only using 1% power.
Kara maybe a powerful group, but the Akatsuki are the more iconic and popular organization.

Here’s the thing right the Third Databook states Sasori quote “abandoned his humanity and gained a puppet’s body that feels no pain. A puppet that will never decay”. This leads me to believe Sasori would be completely unaffected by Boro’s virus. Moving on from that the characters in this versus were insanely downplayed. Kurama with just half its power could quote “easily turn the work to ash” meaning anyone who scales to Kurama or SM Naruto/KCM Naruto would also be planetary. Once we get to Boruto the Kara Inners are stated to be Otsutsuki level threats, and have strength on par with them massively upscaling them because the Otsutsuki can create, and destroy dimension. These same dimensions are stated to be parallel universes.
Kurama by himself is most definitely not a planetary character and neither are those with the ability to rival him. Jinchuriki makes their tailed beast stronger and vice versa. The statement referring to the ability to destroy the world means more: "This person is so strong, they could destroy every single country." While some dimensions are stated to be parallel universes, the ones the Otsutsuki create are not. No characters in Naruto or Boruto are universal, this has been proven several times and the people who point to the light novels often don't realize that most of them are non-cannon scaling.
Honestly, the biggest issue is that Boruto has insane power creep for no reason. The Otsutsuki are the dumbest thing added in Naruto and are just worse in Boruto. Characters like Shibai make the entire Naruto verse worse and it's frustrating.

In my personal opinion people cling to their false ideals of what Naruto was actually about saying things like “I miss when Naruto was about ninjas”. To me that’s one of the most brain dead things I’ve ever heard considering in the second arc of the series we see Naruto participating in a giant Kaiju battle. Naruto was never about what people claim.

No they aren't not even close.
Nagato and Itachi are weaker than SO6P Naruto and Sasuke and they wheren't even close to Kaguya in power, heck all they had to do to beat kaguya is literally touch her at the same time and they still needed 5 people with asspull powerups like DMS Kakashi just to touch her, not beat just touch at the same time.
Kaguya was literally considered a low tier Otsutsuki, so no Nagato is in no way lower Otsutsuki level, not even close.

Kara clears the akatsuki, with little to no effort. The akatsuki might be an iconic group but by the time kara comes into the frame the power scaling has risen to the point where kara is levels above the akatsuki.

If she had a byakugan in the manga. But unfortunately they seem to have abandoned that idea in favor of making her a jinchuriki. I was really hoping that the byakugan would finally get time to shine after being pushed aside in Naruto but unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Only ones who died was Victor, Jigen and Boro.

I think what people REALLY want to know is not the power ranking of Kara vs Akatsuki... that's pretty obvious.
I think the question is Kara as a villain team and plot focus in Naruto shippuden VS Akatsuki as a villain team and plot focus in Boruto
the basic idea is.... who was the cooler villain team and I would say that's 100% Akatsuki.
Kara is a really bad team, they had no relevant backstories, very basic personalities, very low lasting relevance.
Kara only over powers Akasuki because of basic power creep
Kara is not technically gone, the group broke up but most of the relevant members are still in the story developing and being active.
All who died was Boro, Jigen and Victor while Amado, Delta, Code and Kashin Koji are still kicking and part of the story which is stil ongoing.
Kara as a group was never meant to last long, just set up the individual characters that matter while those who did not like Boro and Victor where disposed off.
Amado and Kashin Koji are definitely not basic or bad characters, and we still don't know whats the endgame for Code or Delta since we don't know if she will remain delta or turn into Akebi later.
Saying they don't have lasting relevance when the story is still ongoing makes no sense, Amado has certainly done a lot of relevant thing, as did Jigen/Isshiki and Code.
Without Code there is no Shinju and without Jigen/Isshiki there is no Kawaki and without Amado there is very little plot at all seeing as how its his creations that caused everything.
Same with Koji who helped Boruto train and is very relevant in the fight against the Shinju.

I don't think jigen, boros, delta bleed so Hidan's ability is useless against them. Furthermore, most of kara is faster than lightspeed, I just don't see hidan been able to catch them.

Got a video idea, how useful is Naruto. He uses clones to help everybody on pretty much every level of the village, and when they go away all the experience they get goes back to Naruto. Could Naruto be one of the smartest people based on experience? Like if they had to start from scratch dr.stone type stuff naruto would probably be the best person to survive/build the village back up. He’s seen doing construction and regular general labor, so besides the fighting stuff Naruto probably brings the most to the table, he’s like the ultimate handy man

They all perception blitz Itachi so they’re never getting hit by the totsuka blade. But let’s say they stood still and got hit by it. The totsuka blade probably has an upper limit. We know other sealing jutsu had an upper limit because Madara can break out of Gaara’s sealing jutsu with brute force. The same is probably true for this. If not then you could just stab Kaguya with it and seal her. And Itachi can’t keep up the Yata mirror forever. Assuming he gets it up in the first place.

Well yes he complete disregards Kisame is at least 7th Gate Guy equivalent and that is fighting an opponent he can't scale up by leaching chakra from.
Completely ignores Androids should be vulnerable to the Cyborg Path using its power on them to make them normal or have their own enhancements destroy them. Let alone the Pain's don't regenerate their effectively rebuilt meaning as long as he hides the Path that restores them Pain has near infinite One Ups.
Ignores that the ninja tools established absorption can cancel absorption, meaning both Pain and Kisame can get around Delta.
Plus so many of these he just goes FTL+, when the universe already established, via 8th Gate Guy, that type of speed noticeably warps space time, and is hard for even the EMS Sharingan and Rennigan to perceive. Thus saying anything is the fast must be taken with a grain of salt as a catch all synonym for really fast, rather than literal.

I still think kakuzu and hidan can still single boro. It will be a very drawn out fight but I think they'd get it done. Really depends if hidan has curse mode on and then Boro uses the dark cloud. It just needs to fall in line / luck.

I love your videos but I think you’re wrong about kashin koji. You forget that he’s able to beat jigen because he know his weakness. He’s not able to shrink 2 things at once. He had to choose between the real fire and the rasengan. I think kashin koji got

Definitely think Deidara COULD be at Boro. To my knowledge, I don't remember Boro being able to fly. Deidara could keep a distance between himself and Boro and his clay that enters your body at a microscopic level and blows up your cells would 100% kill Boro. Also, you scale delta way too high and honestly it's just bad/incorrect scaling. If the people inside of kara think she's weaker than Boro, then her fight with Naruto is meaningless considering it was also said that Naruto wasn't actually trying. If he was trying, she would've been dead in seconds, same as any member of the Akatsuki. So there's nothing that can be taken from that fight. She didn't "tank shots from adult kcm2 Naruto". Naruto was basically performing a WWE match with her just to get info and not endanger the village. Good example, cm punk vs brock Lesnar in WWE and in UFC. In UFC, Lesnar legit could kill punk whereas in the WWE it's all performative. Lastly, her AP and durability is not small planet level bc she could hang with Naruto...her strongest attack could not blow up a town let alone a planet. It's called HAX my friend. She has hax that negate powers but your "level" is what your attack could blow up or the level of attack you could tank when talking durability. There's not a planet in any anime universe that delta could blow up with her beam and there's not a single planet level attack that's ever been shown that she could tank head on.
Just a thought, could hidan or kakuzu survive the reaper death seal? It works on souls but if kakuzu has 5 hearts with their own chakra natures, could they replace the requirements for the seal? And hidan could just take the blood of someone else and use it escaping the downside of the seal, you think?

Usually youtubers start an entry then give the introduction for retention, maybe you addressed it in one of your videos but thought id point it out
Apart from Jigen and Code, you overhyped the rest of them. Boro was defeated by a Chidori and what Borushiki did was overkill cause he didn’t need that amount of power to kill Boro. A Kirin would probably been enough.
Next up Kashin koji is strong but he won using a surprise attack, strategic method against a weakened Jigen.

Im just gonna say this, powerscaling is misleading when determining who would win in a fight. First of all, powerscaling is only based on feats we see happen (or worse, from ambiguous claims.) The feats we see are circumstantial and heavily influenced by storytelling. Also, feats we see aren’t always conclusive or realistic (within universe). Just an example, Boro was mercd by borushiki fusion with a rasengan attack which was overkill. Thus, boro isnt properly scaled because the lowest effort to kill wasnt demonstrated. How abilities/speed/fighting style/mental all interact with each other is more important. BESIDES CODE AND JIGEN, i think kara is being overrated heavily, based on a few feats alone. Boro has not been scaled coherently. Delta hasnt either. Kashin Koji’s win over Jigen was a strategy victory, not a dominance victory. Not saying its nicks fault, but boruto and almost any manga/anime/fiction does not showcase each characters abilities to the required scrutiny of a power scaler. Thus, power scaling is an imperfect way to debate on dominant characters.

Boruto itself is so disconnected from Naruto logic that it minus well be it's own OG work but has the Naruto IP tacked on instead. Everything introduced in passed series' are irrelevant and mean nothing since the power scaling has gone too far. Sharingan? Irrelevant since everyone teleports and Sasuke was getting drop kicked out of susanoos. For all we care, the minute the paths of pain appear on the battlefield, Jigen can shrink the chakra rods in all of them, cutting the connection with Nagato. It's the equivalent of "Why Juubidara crushes Zabuza from part 1 Naruto." Like, ofc he does.
Unless your saying all of these could defeat 7 Gate Guy then their not soloing the Akatsuki as individuals, just due to the existence of Kisame (without even including that he scales up the more chakra power his opponent has, thus Guy was a terrible opponent for him), and that isn't getting into all the gotcha mechanics Itachi, Obito, and Pain have. I agree with you that Kara wins, but that is more because outside Obito, Itachi, Kisame, and Pain the rest are basically support distractions, due to how power crept Boruto is. You can say they're all FTL+ all you want but they don't seem to have the same warp space time speed effect 8th Gate Guy, so we can safely say no they're not even FTL, even if characters say that. I'm fairly sure you're also over selling Naruto here given him and Sasuke lost the peak of their power when they blew up their marking arms.
I also think you massively underestimate how useful the biometal/cyborg path could be against Androids, given there is no reason it shouldn't be able to control similar things in other organisms, or turn them human.
Also we never even saw the upper limit of Jubidara, given it took him being infected by Black Zetzu, which completely rewrote the rules of the fight to fighting off Kaguya's will.
You also forgot there is sound reasoning thanks to those ninjutsu absorbing gauntlets canceling each other out that absorption cancels absorption, meaning that both Pain and Kisame could get around that Delta power.
You also didn't consider the Akatsuki have one potential ass pull to give them a chance, of honestly Code and Kashin should be strong enough to be a host for Kaguya (yes I get she isn't Ataksuki, but she'd default be against Jigen so good enough).
Completely agree with the closing thoughts. The power scale of your universe has no bearing on how good the story is. If anything it’s an inverse relationship for the same reason Superman is boring. No credible threats means no struggle. No struggle means no suspense. If having powerful characters was what made a story good, DBZ wouldn’t be complete trash.

I’d personally put the Kara inners anywhere from slightly below Jubbito to slightly below Jubbidara. They simply don’t have feats or statements that can put them any higher or lower. Code, supposedly the strongest one, although I lean towards Koji being the strongest, was no match for Borushiki or V2 Kawaki, who are roughly equal. Borushiki is obviously Boruto controlled by Momoshiki, but Boruto’s body is only 82% Otsutsuki atp, meaning Momoshiki at max can only channel around 80% of his base power, not his fused state. I personally scale base Momoshiki slightly below Kaguya, with fused Momo being much higher, so Borushiki here is in between Jubbidara/Hagoromo and base Momo/Kaguya, leaning more towards base Momo than Hagoromo. Again, Code didn’t stand a chance against Borushiki so he can’t be stronger than Kaguya and arguably even Jubbidara. Kara’s best feats come from Delta and Koji, and worst feats from Boro and Code. Here’s how I scale them and my reasoning:
4 (weakest). Delta: yes she did “match” adult Naruto in strength, but Naruto is severely holding back in this fight to 1. Protect the kids present, 2. Protect the leaf village where the fight is taking place (outskirts), and 3. Trying to trick Delta to give up intel.
3. Boro: He’s above Delta because we have no reason to believe she won’t be affected by his virus, she’s still human even if she’s extremely augmented. His regen should continue to work despite her eye beams cause it comes from his core, and if his core is destroyed he transforms into a much stronger and faster form. Yes he was “defeated” by team 7, but he was clearly just toying with them in his normal state but completely dominated them when he transformed. He was obliterated by Borushiki which is another instance of Kara members

The durability, speed and ap scaling are always the least compelling arguments for me. Imo ever since shikamaru dodged delta I think its clear speed scaling boruto to shippuden doesn't work anymore. At the point of using that scaling, instead of kara vs akatsuki, just do shikamaru vs akatsuki.

What about Sasori’s poison against Boro? I wonder if his healing ability could neutralize poisons. It seems to be able to regenerate him, but we’ve never seen it get rid of anything toxic to his body. In fact, he has antibodies. I believe his core would be susceptible to poison.
Who's even debating this Kara is absolutely stronger. Some members are definitely weaker seeming than anyone in the Akatsuki. Yet the heavy hitters can pick up that slack. Delta was able to keep up with adult Naruto even if he was holding back heavily.

i kinda disagree with Tsukuyomi not working because when itachi fought Yōji Aburame and all of his insects got put in Tsukuyomi so there is a chance it doesnt function like a normal genjutsu
Koshin Koji vs Jubidara, Koshin Koji has one insane advantage right now, the 10 paths future sight. He knows every single move that Madara was going to make before he even did it. He could flatline him before anything happens.
This feels like a pretty solid demonstration of how the powerscaling has made the world of Naruto/Boruto worse. The newer villains are all really strong, but are so bland that I can’t fathom caring about them.
Jigen clears the entire akatsuki by himself and it's not close. Sadly in Boruto the Kara are OP af due to bad storywriting where he pops out some villans to rival Madara at the end of Shippuden.
