So THIS is why I kept seeing the special go through after cancelling someone using it. I would always see the 'you splat X', even as the special continued to move..
They should just basically turn this into a feature and let you just jump off the shark whenever you want, but let it keep going so when it explodes, you’re safe. Or, when you reach your chosen donation destination, you just preform a recall super jump from where you started the special, and then it explodes. The same recall super jump that inkjet and that spider-man special I forgot the name have
I knew this was a thing but never thought it would be reliable enough to abuse even in niche situations. Very nice job experimenting w/ the different maps to find spots for this. Love seeing fellow aerospray gamers in bracket :) Question: have you tried this in TC at all? I have had many times when lateral tower movement pushes/blocks my reefslider, and I imagine this could have a similar effect to the RM shield.
It is very rare for the tower to cause a desync, but it's more likely to happen when slider is about to detonate. Depends on lag in that case. Most of the times I've launched it from tower it just blows up immediately instead
is this also how torpedoes desync? where on your screen it hits your enemy but in their view they shot it down? i swear it makes sunder unplayable for me, i always think i have a torp combo ready but they apparently werent hit on their screen 😑

I think so! I've seen what you're referring to as well, it's mainly why I go for rolling the torpedo
