Geelong line signal fault causes chaos

  • A signalling power fault at Little River has thrown V/Line evening peak hour into chaos with trains being left stranded on the Geelong line past Werribee. Commuters were forced to sit it out on the trains for up to four hours before things got moving again, with little communication to when services would resume or how. As reported by Channel 9 6pm evening news, 4 April 2012

    LOL! And just a week later the SAME fault has once again shut down the whole line. Time to stop the "reactive faults maintenance" and get back to the old days of actually putting money into improving the network guys!
