I’ve always loved this show ever since I was a kid, but now that I’m much older I’ve realized how much I respect George. He took the right approach! Don’t ever try to suck up to people who think you’re beneath them. They’re gonna think whatever they’re gonna think despite whatever you do, have rich in laws myself and they never cease to remind us of how much better they think they are. I not only stopped caring but turned up the “fuel” to give them more stuff to discuss during the holidays. People who have nothing to discuss other than putting down people are truly sad and pathetic..
I'm glad goerge has at least one person from Angie family who respects him

Vic gave him a hard time every once in awhile, but he knows that he loved Angie with all his heart and that he would do his best to help the people he cares about. Even agreed later that Claudia made the right choice making him the trustee, saying he made the mistake of spoiling his kids and Angie was the only one of the three to turn out right

He thought George kissed Gloria when It was the other way around
Bribed off George 10 grand to not see Angie ever again
And payed 2K to George so Vic can spend time with Linda
It really seems that Claudia and Vic (somewhat) and Veronica (later on) are the only ones in Angie’s family that respect George

@@moneylover318 It is nice to see them engaging in a friendly conversation. But, later on, it came out that Veronica is spoiled and would do anything to get what she wants, even using Max to steal clothing and go out with George’s boss, which resulted in George not getting paid. It took several episodes but Veronica became a much better person understanding that you need to work to earn something. I miss George Lopez

Just a scene where they're at one of the reunions, they both retreat to the bar - having had enough of the Palmeros' crap, they exchange quips and jokes about them as the drinks keep on coming to the point where they are laughing their asses off, leaning on each other and just *MERCILESSLY ROASTING* any Palmero that crosses their path!

I agree that George didn't take any of Angie's family's crap. Also I loved it when he was named the trustee in this episode to Veronica. Even victor said it was the right thing to do. He acknowledged he spoiled his kids rotten. Even though angie was a miracle she wasn't spoiled like them

Why are people hated on George because he not Rich I hate in laws who are like that because they have money they are just jerks.
Yeah, I hate that, too. They’re so spoiled and entitled because they’re so wealthy and have so much that they feel and believe anyone who’s underprivileged or not as wealthy as them is poor and beneath them. That they shouldn’t be given the same respect like every other human being or specifically like them because they’re not rich and that’s what I hate about them. This is also why I think Claudia didn’t chose any of her Palmero in-laws to be her daughter’s trustee and chose George. As already exhibited from their spoiled, snobbish attitudes towards George due to their spoiled, wealthy lifestyles, any of the Palmero family would’ve likely continued to spoil Veronica until she became just like her father and, unlike them, George is more tough, strict, and knows more about working hard for things than all of them, including Angie who grew up spoiled, combined. So Claudia sure as hell made the right choice.

I still have to wonder if this was one hundred percent for George's amusement or if she had something against Vic specifically. If it were for George's amusement, you'd think she would pick one of the other ones who are even more condescending to him.

Well for one thing when I write down my last will and testament I am leaving my house to my family under the condition that they do not sell it believe me I will talk to my lawyer about that one this house is non sellable the reason why is so that if my family doesn't have a home this is home that type of scenario I want to leave my collection of cars and I'm not talking about a fleet of cars I'm talking about leaving my collection of toy cars that me and my cousin's collected when we were kids I'm leaving them to my grandson my guess is that he'll probably be 3 years old and I hope and pray that my son's or my daughter do not get divorced or a different type of marriage. Because if that happens I'm going to be haunting them for all eternity. I'll be doing a whole Haunted Mansion scenario on them if they divorce or going to a different type of marriage please don't make me describe it. I want to leave a good amount of money in equal shares to my sons and my daughter and I'm going to assume that they're not going to be greedy about it I leave each of them $500,000 but for my grandchildren assuming you're not going to be snobs or anything like the street kids that I've seen in New York and assuming that they're not going to be locked up in juvie or prison and they will get that money if they are doing well in school they don't go to jail they don't do drugs or alcohol I leave each of my grandchildren 20 million dollars but they will not get it right away by the time they turn 30 they will get 20 million dollars each and the reason I said 500,000 towards my son than my daughter is because I hope that they have successful businesses that are not illegal and they don't support Democratic power or abortion or different communities that try to protest on their own agenda then $500,000 goes to each of them. I would like to leave my entire collection of books godson in hopes that he will enjoy them as I have I leave my private plane to my goddaughter and hopes that she will use it to travel across the world and to use it on vacation purposes and not for illegal purposes and I would like to leave my very first car to my two nephews in hopes that they will fix it up and give it to their children at some point and they also got $250,000 each and that's for my nieces I leave them $250,000 in hopes that they are doing well with school in hopes that they will create a better life for themselves according to the laws of God and with that money I leave them my collection of paintings all of this is going to be under the conditions that they do not sell them for selfish purposes or foolish reasons that money is going to go towards helping them to get through paying their bills getting their taxes done and to also set up college funds for their future Generations but the house is still going to be theirs with the same condition as to not sell it but to live here in the event of if they lose their homes and if they do lose their homes take all that money together and help to maybe pay off the bills towards the house as well as taxes but the best proven that they're going to have is in that house I have one more special thing that I want to put in my will at some point a key that will be given to my great-grandson that key will lead to my private study as well as private Library so that way I hope that he could have it's a good use to maybe write out his own stories and also says everything he needs to know about writing a story to find inspiration will all be in that Library. And if it's not a great-grandson then I hope it's a great-granddaughter and I also have one more request to give to my executor as well as my lawyer that the last will and testament will be read on the occasion of my 100th birthday because if I pass away somewhere in the 90s you guys are going to have to wait a few years until that will is open but there is also a catch to this will if anyone in the family attempts to sell any of the possessions in the house that I worked hard to get and people use the money for selfish reasons such as drugs divorce and so forth then my entire wealth including house and all will be given to my grandchildren and my great-grandchildren so another words respect the will and respect my wishes
