Ah good, they must be older ones if they're pretty audible since those seem to be lower pitched and carry farther than the newer ones (i.e. SRNBs & 130s).
i've been here for about 12 years. my experience has been that there are storms every summer, and at least a few times a year there are tornado warnings. when i first moved here over a decade ago i told my family back home that summer was "monsoon season."
I lived in Roswell in the mid 90's, though i was a young child, i dont remember ANY thunderstorms from the summers of '94-'96. I love storms and can remember some bad ones even in the early 90's but for some reason cant remember any in Georgia
I have family that lived in your neck of the woods, I know the feeling when the sky gets dark and the sirens go off.
Great video 5/5 stars
Nice video, finally get to hear what Roswell's Federal Signal Modulator sirens sound like.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the 2001s. Are they very loud normally? The ones here seem really quiet.

I think it is so weird that there are siren enthusiasts who cannot identify different sirens by their sound!
We have a few 2001's as well, just can't hear them in this video.
it's just a flip ultra camera. super small and easy to grab in a pinch when the mood strikes.
@BLACKBEAUTY8989 I don't think an actual tornado has ever touched down in Roswell, but we get 2 or 3 warnings every year.
They are audible if you're within their range. If you are, they are louder than the Modulators. I live close to one.
That storm was insane. I deliver for Pizza Hut and I was out working in this. Where in Roswell was this?
Nope, there are no Whelens in Roswell. Only 2001s and Modulators.
that's whelen. maybe whelen vortex in this video!!
