I am in England, and a very long time ago, my browser accidentally found the Kyoto Tachibana Marching Band, which amazed me. Since then I have been very interested in all Japanese young people's bands and find it very hard to find a preference because their styles and standards are all different and extremely high. I think I remember the Onishi Gakuen Players' last concert when their seniors had to retire and I felt extremely sad and shared the tears with them. Now this Onishi Gakuen Band's presentation is probably the best band concert I have ever seen in my long life. The players are absolutely brilliant and I would like to Congratulate Their Professor Musical Director (Sorry Sir, I don't know your name) on a fantastic achievement. I think it will be an absolute international crime if this band do not stay together at the end of their school educations and make it their careers. I noticed one tiny flaw in the entire concert, but it doesn't matter and would be rude say what it was. I think all of the players will have an extremely happy experience with Onishi Gakuen, but dread to see the final concert at the end of their season because I think the tears will be more than the flooding of the 2011 Tsunamis. I thank you all and send good wishes for A HAPPY, PROSPEROUS and more importantly A HEALTHY NEW YEAR and years to come.

For such a small group of musicians they know how to punch their weight with superb musical skills. The talent of these your musicians is incredible. The audience participation was a nice touch. From Dublin Ireland,

I write this comment on 16/01/2022 and address it to all Japanese Band members, friends and families. Because I am an old man, it is highly unlikely that I will ever meet any of you, but regard you all as my friends because your music always makes me happy. I expect your Governing Authorities may already have talked to you about this matter but I would like to add to it. I live in England and last night I heard and saw terrifying news that makes me fear for all of you living near the Pacific coasts. Yesterday a large undersea volcano erupted north of Tonga Main Island and caused a small Tsunami flood that affected and is expected to affect several countries living on The same Pacific Tectonic plates that caused the massive Tsunamis Japan experienced in 2011. I would like to hear that you have organized yourselves and prepared to take your instruments and move to higher ground in case there is a further large eruption and earthquake repeat of the 2011 disaster when at least 15,000 people died. Thank you all again for your wonderful music regardless of the band you play with and I pray for your safety and wish you all good luck.

What a fantastic concert by a group of outstanding musicians. Well rehearsed and talented.....a great treat to watch and especially for those in attendance. Outstanding..... Kudo's to all, especially Mikan....thank you for your great video. Arigatou Gozimasu....
👏👏👏👏Who else would pick 2 of the most obscure band instruments to start the show with 2 numbers not even wrote with them in mind. Moon Light Srenade on French horn (never heard of) by the young lady who has been solid all the way through her time with the band. Pretty outstanding having played French horn a few times myself. Then the baritone sax solo a great treat by a talented player, I am not familiar with song title. Then a great mixture of music and entertainment all the way through. I will agree a great choice of new music. A great entertaining performance by the little big band. There are some things that you can not teach. The natural ability of the horn player and the talent of the lead clarinet who just melts with the instrument and done a great job compereing the show. The most important thing of this video is the after show filimg which show how much they care for each other and how much fun they have as a group. Mikan can you let them know that they are great. I would be interested to hear what they have to say. Is there a way to contact you privately Mikan?
