It's not difficult dear,just take your measuring tape round the widest part of the lap, below your butt and that's all.Divide the measurement into 2 to cut it out on your fabric and add at least 2inches to it for seam allowance and ease (you can make it more than 2 inches or less depends on how free you want it)
