Chris Pratt would be a floating frame while Granddad and Somari running alongside each other. IHY Luigi later joining them, realizing his hatred wasn't towards Mario but towards Ultra M all along for keeping him trapped. Replacing GF in joining IHY Luigi, OGN Mario joins in, fighting back against Ultra M and apologizing to his brother. Beta Luigi finally takes the courage to fight back and escape from Ultra M's clutches and wouldn't you know it, Beta Mario is floating beside him. The Wario Apparition would then join, spooking BF a bit, then would come Turmoil, who would leap out of Ultra M and join in while lashing his tongue at Ultra M, slowing him down a little bit. The presence of Turmoil would then get Coronation Peach to join, floating away from the impending rage that was Ultra M. Bad Day Mario would leap into BF's hand as they had their part, and the Day Off crew pulls up in a van, Mario sticking his head out to BF and the others while Luigi interrupts, happy to see them as he gets slapped by Mario and gets called a dumbass geek. Dictator Mario would then pull up in a limo beside the Day Off crew, then assuring that BF wasn't let off just yet as he said "YOU TRIED TO FUCK ME". Devil Mario would then leap on the limo and join in escaping. The protagonists appreciate the support of the others, but Racist Mario being...well Racist Mario calls them all race traitors before driving off the bridge. That's it for now, until the update!! (banger chart and AMAZING effects)
I have an idea when somari and granddad arrives at the escape scene somari goes ahead of them since his is a combination of sonic of Mario so that means he's fast but that would only be the one that is going ahead of the the others

gf gets a power star making her invincible so she decides to make a strong push back in demon form (assuming the star makes her invulnerable to the nullification of her powers) which does give M trouble but he was just waiting for the exact moment it ran out but it was too late bf got there. i love thinking about these from an anime fight perspective.

At some point, I saw a sprite for GF that was singing facing towards Omega Mario's Minions at an angle (similarly to how the BF sprite in Silly Billy faces), and I know there's a Pico sprite that faces in that same direction somewhere, too - I've definitely seen it before. I'd offer the suggestion that at some point in a future version (maybe not v2 or anything, but in a future version perhaps), using the three sprites mentioned (GF, BF, & Pico) for them to face the Giant form of Ultra M - it'd be kinda fitting, and pretty awesome. Anyway, as for what I forgot to mention in my comment a week ago: great work! I'm definitely enjoying this so far and am looking forward to a final version, whenever that will be!

Here's a fun little thing I noticed about the storyline: All of the parts outside of BF's are essential for BF's survival. GF needs to survive against Ultra M, because she is his whole world, and if she dies, he won't have the will to live (though he will fight to the bitter end, as seen in the bad ending). Pico needs to survive against MX because he picked up the 1-Up Mushroom. Even if GF survives, should Pico fall, BF will still "Game Over" regardless. There's just one question that's been bugging me... how exactly did GF get the Super Star again? I know it's pretty much the whole reason she didn't get eviscerated and made into a puppet like in the bad ending, but I still don't know HOW she got it.
Here's some explanation,that don't is from Raul,but a theory of me: So,we all know that in the Mario games there are invisible blocks that contains some coins,mushrooms,fire flowers,a life or even a star. So,Girlfriend,trying to avoid M's attack against her,she jumped and have hit a invisible block that granted a star to her,and she became invulnerable for a while. And,when Boyfriend shows up in his part,the power-up ends. I hope you understanded it,because i am Brazilian. Sorry for any messed words.

this looks really good so far! the only big issue i'd say I have right now is that the wavy notes effect gets used wayyy too much and I think that would probably make the chart a lot less fun to play
Well, not only that, but if the gameplay is anything to go by, it would tank the FPS so hard at times any player worth their salt would unfairly miss notes due to lag. I'd suggest maybe tone down some of the visual effects and figure out how to optimize this for lower-end machines that don't exactly have 1 GB of VRam to spare just to run this.
