APOLLO!! Omg I love him so much he's such a clever boy, 100% success rate on Wario identification
@12:30 Hatfilms invents peer review.
Don't let President Camacho hear you dissing Idiocracy.
Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra.
Temba, his arms open wide.
was thinking this too, thanks!
For some reason, youtube has attached a "Translate to English" function to this comment, but the only thing it translates is "Jalad" to "legs", which just feels so unintentionally appropriate.
I always disagreed with that Gervais quote, I think religious books would reappear largely the same (different names but the same ideas and core) but science books would update with more accurate tests.
The fact that religious opinions haven't changed in thousands of years yet science has exponentially grown makes it more reliable.
If you got rid of the religious texts and wanted 100 years, new religions would form but they'd all be similar. Worship this guy, pray at set times, give the church money, follow these rules to get to heaven) but if you burned all the science books (not out of the question for America at this point), we'd need new tests and we'd get more accurate results.
That fingle will haunt me forever
boo
That fingle stole the pdocast. I dont even remember what was just discussed
Watched through the episode just for the fingle at the end, worth it 😎

I remember seeing Idiocracy around when it first came out- and I have always referred to it as a horror film....
And it has become increasingly accurate.
If someone could post lyrics to the fingle that’d be great 😂
Beautiful fingle
thx
Does HatFilms get maths?
I recommend the book 'Our Mathematical Universe'
By Max Tegmark?
Keep it secret! Keep it safe...

"If only they bought a team of experts"
Going back to the Idiocracy discussion, there's no externally obvious signifier of an 'expert'. So, it's the free market, baby. Whoever can convince people they're an expert is! In a world that actively distrusts science, it's pretty easy to convince people you're an expert as opposed to those 'scientists'.
Comment for the algorithm.
12:40 sounds very similar to how russia kgb operated lol a chain of people making sure everyone is doing their job
And communication with math might have some hiccups, as there's no necessary reason for every species to use base ten (which we only use for our finger count).
Smithy doesn't know.
Idiocracy is a legitimately poorly-written movie that gets way too much praise imho.
