You have to have a look at this: he's got a lawyer since he was ten years old and calls him his family and that he loves him. And he calls Catherine O'Hara mom. Not a word about his parents. That says it all.
To end with positive thoughts: Macaulay derserves this honour so much. He's a beautiful, lovely, healed person with an angel's voice and an infectious laugh. Couldn't be happier for him. Last month of the year couldn't have started better.
I'm glad he has good people around him and he deserves every happiness.

Macaulay, I’m 37, soon to be 38, and you have been and wil continue to be a part of my Christmas every single year. I don’t watch Christmas movies outside of the season so one of the things I look forward to the most at Christmas is watching Home Alone and Home Alone 2. Life brought you a lot of hardship but here you are, with a star you so deserve!! Congrats Macaulay!!

“My Girl” is powerful, emotional and he delivers a great performance. Not only is he convincing, it’s a much different character from both Home Alones. Ritchie Rich, etc. Range and pure talent from such a young age!

I grew up watching his movies . I can’t believe it took them this long to give home a Hollywood star. His parents were horrible to him. I wish him all the best. Just waiting for him to make a comeback to movies one day
My favorites of his movies are Richie Rich and Getting Even With Dad
I love him. We have watched him 4 times in 2 months. My son's nose and mouth look like his. We even got him a green robe like the one he had.
Without Macaulay Culkin, there would be no Home Alone trilogy, no Boy Meets World, no Ned’s Declassified, no Suite Life of Zack and Cody, no Stranger Things, and there would no Good Boys.
33 years after Home Alone arrived in movie theaters, Macaulay has received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As a fan, I congratulate him because this wonderful story is an example of how as long as we keep our faith while facing hardship God knows how to work things out for good in order to find redemption.

Has anyone not seen any of the new stuff he’s been in? His voice does seem a little higher but I think it’s just because it’s all such a sensitive, shy, awkward, super emotional space/speech to give.
In "My Girl" 1991 he made us cry for him and in "The Good Son" he made us scared and terrified of him and of course in "Home Alone 1990" and "Home Alone 2" and in "Richie Rich" 1994 his last of movie he did as a kid he made us all root and cheer for him and in "Uncle Buck" 1989 with the Late John Candy he made us all say how cute and adorable he was.

I’m so happy for Mac as a 90’s baby! I never thought this would happen. Besides Home Alone 1/2, I’ve seen him in The Pagemaster, Richie Rich, Getting Even With Dad, Uncle Buck and The Nutcracker! While we are at it, I’m surprised he dyed his hair!

Macaulay is International treasure. I was in Ladakh, a remote cold desert in north India in 1991 when I saw this movie. And now I live in the Bay Area and watch it with my 2 kids every holiday season. Brings back so many memories.

This guy has entertained us with home alone every Christmas. You can't not have it on when it's Christmas it's a silly fun film that the whole family can sit down and enjoy while we get in the Christmas mood. We all thank you Mac for lighting up our Christmas.

I like so many people who saw this and before I heard anyone else voice it I was thinking, I had never heard his adult voice before 😢😊. He’s such a sweet person, I hope he acts again one day. I know he had some trauma I guess from acting and family in childhood, but I hope the best for him. I have nothing but the fondest memories of him.
