Walang overheating issue ang TUF model na ito because mababa po ang TGP. Downside is low performance for a 3060. But still, it depens naman kung saan mo gagamitin ang unit na ito. If online games, very smooth. For AAA games, apply medium to high graphics set ok na FPS. Rule of thumb lang in choosing graphics cards for laptop, higher TGP equals better performance but higher temperature, and vice versa.

Therefore, pagdating sa benchmarking, higher score ang lenovo na may 145 watts and higher TDP. Pag low TDP po kasi yung unit tapos mataas na wattage matutunaw components heheh pero ganun po sinent ng mga engineers para sa compatibility and stability ng unit. Kaya 115 lang naka design na wattage dito sa TUF kasi for a reason na mas okay ang temp niya, durability itself as they promote.

Been using TUF for a year now and still works fine, I suggest upgrading the RAM to 16 GB to get more performance boost (8GB kinda sucks coz when u open browser and a game it kinda lags)
8 gb nga lang yung ROG g15 ko kahit multiple browser youtube etc tapos nag gegames pako walang kaproble problema kahit sabayan ko pa ng downloading at sobrang bilis pa parang ,tinitignan ko walang ka lag lag

i have the exact same laptop specs (except iba ang color and design kasi gray akin and flat finish lang ang back pero metallic sya unlike sa nasa video). Bought it September last year and i haven't had issues whatsoever in terms of gaming. Usually at performance mode playing AAA games like RDR2 aabot lang nang 70-80c temp cpu/gpu at 60-70fps balanced to high settings. I have yet to see upwards to 90c average na temps niya in any game (sa spikes lang at times aabot ng 90c). PROS: 1) MyAsus and ArmoryCrate apps are a +. 2) Cooling system 3) dont get too caught up with the "military grade" exaggeration pero it looks and feels durable talaga at walang wobbling or flexing ng panel or entire structure CONS: 1) 250 nits SOBRANG BABA ng brightness talaga. Dark scenes during daylight parang ewan wala lang. 2) mas totoo ang fingerprint magnet talaga sya especially sa color ng laptop na nasa video but holds true din sa gray metallic na color kagaya ng sa akin. 3) mahina ang speaker so bili ka lang ng laptop speaker/ headphone.

4-year gaming laptop user experience note: - Always play with your chargers plugged in - Careful of laptop hinges.. don't be careless with laptop lid opening - Clean your laptop's external regularly please.. use not too wet wipes for the monitor.. wipe after with tissue so that no wet wipes smudges will stay - Schedule exhaust cleaning from technicians ( preferrably every 2 to 3 months ) - Schedule change of thermal paste if needed be ( usually done once every 2-4 years or depending on thermal paste's longevity on the chips ) - Use elevated laptop fans.. this will help free up the space underneath the laptop for better airflow ( more specific for gaming ) - Always upgrade your rams to at least 16 - dont go for ssd only laptops.. it should have ssd (for os) and hdd slots ( for other stuff)

Although, sa case lang ng gaming laptops, na-notice ko lang talaga na need talaga naka-plugin si charger to get the most consistent performance and quality out of your unit lalo na sa time na paglalaro ng games, kahit 100% yan or not yung current battery status. Although proven and tested na yan, ang simple thinking about diyan is parang binibigyan natin ng consistent na power ang components ng laptop if doing heavy tasks and gaming kesa yung onti onti silang nag tho-throttle or nanghihinga over time dahil sa naghahati sa papaubos na charge ng battery. To conclude and add, simply at almost any scenario, if gaming - plug in the charger, at any battery status... if not gaming - you can decide whether you want to plug your charger in. depending on the heaviness of your usage - at any battery status.. Hope, nakatulong toh kahit paano po kasi honestly di ko na gets yung concern mo masyado.. pero if it didn't then I guess... SKL hahaha

Pipigilan lang nya na umabot sa 100% yung battery mo into 55% lang sya pero nakaplug in yung charger mo all day without getting fully charged . Sa asus tuf naman kasi yung laptop sa video same lang kami ng model hahaha . Yung asus tuf naman meron syang feautures na magchacharge lang sya in 80% percent pero nakaplug in charger mo all day . Ang flaw nitong laptop yung thermals yung 2020 version nag thethermal throttle yun gawa na limited yung holes sa bottom chassis and sa sides but yung 2022 naging better yung thermald but still mainit but they fixed the thermals in the 2022 version with 12th gen and ryzen 6000 so okay na yung thermals so ok na yung thermals
Should have got the 2022 version ng TUF A15. It was much better than the 2021 version that you are reviewing. One major flaw ng A15 noong 2021 ay wala siyang MUX switch (which is important na pwde mo i-turn off ang integrated graphics when gaming if you have a discrete graphics like NVIDIA RTX) kaya di tuloy ma-bring out yung maximum performance nung RTX 3060 ko dati. Buti nalang talaga may bumili ng TUF A15 ko at yung money dinagdag ko nalang sa pagbili ng newer 2022 version na ang daming improvements (included na ang MUX switch).
same model tayo sir kakabili ko lang nung july 27. so far ok nman sya lalo na sa FPS games. di ko pa na-try sa ibang games. pag battery mode sya nasa 2 to 2.5 hours sa gaming (full charge)

New subscriber here, actually ibang model ng TUF gaming A15 yung napurchase ko. Before ko sya napurchase, impressed na ako dito especially marami rin na nagrerecommend sakin ng TUF gaming laptop. Talagang swak sa budget mo tapos specs ay oks na oks sa mga games and other high end apps. Refresh rate mabilis, hope na di maglag ito sooner ng mabilisan. So far, satisfied ang paggamit ng TUF gaming.

Finally they get to review my unit! and YES the TUF GAMING was my final choice during my 2021 Gaming Laptop Find. but here's a few unbiased reviews from this laptop after using it for 5 months. The bad stuff: 1. Screen Wobbles a little bit when you press the keyboard too hard. but the hinges looks strong and durable and doesn't have that much flex too. 2. Thermals. as in the video they stated that the thermals are good, but in reality its actually quite terrible even worst than their TUF Dash counterpart. because of the laptop only have 3 exhaust vents. heat cannot be escape easily (They fixed this in the 2022 models which it has 4 vents now). Playing Battlefield V in a 3 hours session. Average temps goes around 80-90 (Filipino Room Temperature) 80-85 when you're in a airconditioned room. it get hot to the touch too. I would say Legion Series has better thermals. It also gets hot when you use it on your lap which you definitely need a table. 3. Mediocre Screen. it's not really bright at full brightness so its not really suitable for outside use. also I'm not really a competitive gamer so screen latency isn't really a problem for me. but the colors are off. so if you care about that you might need an external screen. but it does have Adoptive Sync which prevents tearing. 4. You can't control the FANS speed. depends on you to be honest. (They fixed this in the 2022 Model too) the good stuff: 1. Awesome Performance and good power limits for both CPU AND GPU for the price. 2. Insane battery life (except intel variants lol). 3. Aesthetically good looking unit. (especially eclipse grey). 4. decent upgrade options. 5. Decent Speaker with little base. Overall its a good unit and I highly recommend it! ESPECIALLY the 2022 model which they made ALOT OF GOOD CHANGES from the bad stuff I mentioned above. Improved Thermals and a MUX switch. also want to point out that the TUF gaming gives you an option to have a HDD slot bay in exchange for smaller battery. obviously I picked the one with a bigger battery. My unit: I5 - 11400H 16gb RTX 3050 (no thunderbolt cuz its a 3050 but hey its fine)

watching this using my own TUF. so proud and I can say na totoong matibay at maganda performance. Dinadala ko to sa iba't ibang lugar kaya madalas nasa bag at may mga kasamang gamit pa, pero di naapektuhan ang screen at performance kahit laspagan ang gamit ko. Good for gaming and overkill for documents purposes and online meetings! Pwedeng pwede sa mga maselan sa appearance or gusto ng brusko tignan na laptop. God bless sa mga nagbabalak bumili! Ito yung hinihintay kong review from Laptop Factory. I went there sa inyo last June, wala tong variant na to. I bought mine last June(got the gray colored one which is less of a finger print magnet dahil matte finish sya), so far di ako nagsisi sa value for money nya. Very great for gaming (tried fps and triple A games), for work and as a daily driver. Swak talaga to sa budget and need ko. Yung ASUS TUF F15 ko , daming issues . 8 days palang may bright pixel na. Di nila mapalitan kasi 7 days lang daw talaga dapat . Tapos nung parang i approve na nila sana yung replacement of unit, may scratch daw sa likod. Sabi ko ha? bakit nag scratch kasi di ko payan nagagamit masyado tapos binabalik pa sa cover at sa box . Tapos yung color nya minsan di nag mamatch yung kulay nang tao may parang outline na lumihis yung color parang naging shadow 🤣. Tapos minsan kukurap kurap ang screen. minsan naman may mga lines yung scroll bar. sabi military grade pero parang konting move lang ma damage na yung body. Pero maganda ang Audio nya. Super appreciated ko yung AI noise cancelling. Battery 90Wh yung sakin but 3 hrs lang din halos ang 20 - 80 percent. Walang game yun ,videos lang yun and internet . Gang ngayon di ko padin napa change yung screen na may bright pixels . Sinasagad ko muna kasi nung March 2022 ko lng nabili.Buset talaga 60k pa naman. Yung akin yung walang logo pero may TUF na letters sa cover. 🥲 Pero yung version nung akin ang storage ay 1TB SSD. Dual slot then RTX 3060Ti . Etong bago hindi Titanium. Engineering works lang habol ko sa laptop nato di naman ako gamer pero yun lang nakaka disappoint yung issues nya.
Ako din ASUS ko after one month mei hinge problem wla na replacement SO PINAREPAIR KO OKAY NA AFTER KO MKUHA NUNG PINAREPAIR MEI BLACK DOT NMAN SA SCREEN. Goods na Goods sulit kaibahan lang nito mukang nakuha kong unit ryzen 7 siya na 4800H 1 month palang OK siya gaming lahat etc. Di nga lang siya matagal malowbatt kung office use masasabi kong 4hrs na maximum from 100-30% syempre alaga lang sa laptop hindi ko pinapaabot sa 10 or lower than 20%.

Have the same laptop unit cons I noticed is the temp, I fixed it through cooling pads and vaccum fans on all the exhaust playing genshin with max setting 1.5 render resolution sitting at 70-80, monster hunter world highest setting 70-85 max. Battery life is good, I set it to 60% charge only to protect my battery even with 60% on silent mode would last 3-4 hours. Note the 2022 is better but it is more expensive solves the thermals, the 2021 unit is much cheaper I bought a second hand unit that was 2 months old with receipt and under warranty for 50k while the 2022 depends on the variant would go as high as 100k+ so its up to you

4-year gaming laptop user experience note:
- Always play with your chargers plugged in
- Careful of laptop hinges.. don't be careless with laptop lid opening
- Clean your laptop's external regularly please.. use not too wet wipes for the monitor.. wipe after with tissue so that no wet wipes smudges will stay
- Schedule exhaust cleaning from technicians ( preferrably every 2 to 3 months )
- Schedule change of thermal paste if needed be ( usually done once every 2-4 years or depending on thermal paste's longevity on the chips )
- Use elevated laptop fans.. this will help free up the space underneath the laptop for better airflow ( more specific for gaming )
- Always upgrade your rams to at least 16
- dont go for ssd only laptops.. it should have ssd (for os) and hdd slots ( for other stuff)

Although, sa case lang ng gaming laptops, na-notice ko lang talaga na need talaga naka-plugin si charger to get the most consistent performance and quality out of your unit lalo na sa time na paglalaro ng games, kahit 100% yan or not yung current battery status.
Although proven and tested na yan, ang simple thinking about diyan is parang binibigyan natin ng consistent na power ang components ng laptop if doing heavy tasks and gaming kesa yung onti onti silang nag tho-throttle or nanghihinga over time dahil sa naghahati sa papaubos na charge ng battery.
To conclude and add, simply at almost any scenario, if gaming - plug in the charger, at any battery status... if not gaming - you can decide whether you want to plug your charger in. depending on the heaviness of your usage - at any battery status..

@@yevolution thanks nakatulong naman para syang conservation mode, kasi mostly lenovo lang ang may features na conservation mode. Pipigilan lang nya na umabot sa 100% yung battery mo into 55% lang sya pero nakaplug in yung charger mo all day without getting fully charged . Sa asus tuf naman kasi yung laptop sa video same lang kami ng model hahaha . Yung asus tuf naman meron syang feautures na magchacharge lang sya in 80% percent pero nakaplug in charger mo all day . Yan yung gusto kong sabihin hahaha sorry di masyado maexplain

Ang flaw nitong laptop yung thermals yung 2020 version nag thethermal throttle yun gawa na limited yung holes sa bottom chassis and sa sides but yung 2022 naging better yung thermald but still mainit but they fixed the thermals in the 2022 version with 12th gen and ryzen 6000 so okay na yung thermals so ok na yung thermals

Should have got the 2022 version ng TUF A15. It was much better than the 2021 version that you are reviewing. One major flaw ng A15 noong 2021 ay wala siyang MUX switch (which is important na pwde mo i-turn off ang integrated graphics when gaming if you have a discrete graphics like NVIDIA RTX) kaya di tuloy ma-bring out yung maximum performance nung RTX 3060 ko dati.
Buti nalang talaga may bumili ng TUF A15 ko at yung money dinagdag ko nalang sa pagbili ng newer 2022 version na ang daming improvements (included na ang MUX switch).
Hm price..

same model tayo sir kakabili ko lang nung july 27. so far ok nman sya lalo na sa FPS games. di ko pa na-try sa ibang games. pag battery mode sya nasa 2 to 2.5 hours sa gaming (full charge)

New subscriber here, actually ibang model ng TUF gaming A15 yung napurchase ko. Before ko sya napurchase, impressed na ako dito especially marami rin na nagrerecommend sakin ng TUF gaming laptop. Talagang swak sa budget mo tapos specs ay oks na oks sa mga games and other high end apps. Refresh rate mabilis, hope na di maglag ito sooner ng mabilisan. So far, satisfied ang paggamit ng TUF gaming.

Finally they get to review my unit! and YES the TUF GAMING was my final choice during my 2021 Gaming Laptop Find. but here's a few unbiased reviews from this laptop after using it for 5 months.
The bad stuff:
1. Screen Wobbles a little bit when you press the keyboard too hard. but the hinges looks strong and durable and doesn't have that much flex too.
2. Thermals. as in the video they stated that the thermals are good, but in reality its actually quite terrible even worst than their TUF Dash counterpart. because of the laptop only have 3 exhaust vents. heat cannot be escape easily (They fixed this in the 2022 models which it has 4 vents now). Playing Battlefield V in a 3 hours session. Average temps goes around 80-90 (Filipino Room Temperature) 80-85 when you're in a airconditioned room. it get hot to the touch too. I would say Legion Series has better thermals. It also gets hot when you use it on your lap which you definitely need a table.
3. Mediocre Screen. it's not really bright at full brightness so its not really suitable for outside use. also I'm not really a competitive gamer so screen latency isn't really a problem for me. but the colors are off. so if you care about that you might need an external screen. but it does have Adoptive Sync which prevents tearing.
4. You can't control the FANS speed. depends on you to be honest. (They fixed this in the 2022 Model too)
the good stuff:
1. Awesome Performance and good power limits for both CPU AND GPU for the price.
2. Insane battery life (except intel variants lol).
3. Aesthetically good looking unit. (especially eclipse grey).
4. decent upgrade options.
5. Decent Speaker with little base.
Overall its a good unit and I highly recommend it! ESPECIALLY the 2022 model which they made ALOT OF GOOD CHANGES from the bad stuff I mentioned above. Improved Thermals and a MUX switch.
also want to point out that the TUF gaming gives you an option to have a HDD slot bay in exchange for smaller battery. obviously I picked the one with a bigger battery.

You can undervolt it, mine dropped from 80+ celcius to 70+ celcius without lowering the performance my GPU gives.

watching this using my own TUF. so proud and I can say na totoong matibay at maganda performance. Dinadala ko to sa iba't ibang lugar kaya madalas nasa bag at may mga kasamang gamit pa, pero di naapektuhan ang screen at performance kahit laspagan ang gamit ko. Good for gaming and overkill for documents purposes and online meetings! Pwedeng pwede sa mga maselan sa appearance or gusto ng brusko tignan na laptop. God bless sa mga nagbabalak bumili! Ito yung hinihintay kong review from Laptop Factory. I went there sa inyo last June, wala tong variant na to. I bought mine last June(got the gray colored one which is less of a finger print magnet dahil matte finish sya), so far di ako nagsisi sa value for money nya. Very great for gaming (tried fps and triple A games), for work and as a daily driver. Swak talaga to sa budget and need ko. Thanks for this detailed video, marami ako nakita dito na di ko nakita sa ibang reviews. Mas mura din yung price nila vs the usual price for this unit. So kudos for all of that! 😁

Yung ASUS TUF F15 ko , daming issues . 8 days palang may bright pixel na. Di nila mapalitan kasi 7 days lang daw talaga dapat . Tapos nung parang i approve na nila sana yung replacement of unit, may scratch daw sa likod. Sabi ko ha? bakit nag scratch kasi di ko payan nagagamit masyado tapos binabalik pa sa cover at sa box . Tapos yung color nya minsan di nag mamatch yung kulay nang tao may parang outline na lumihis yung color parang naging shadow 🤣. Tapos minsan kukurap kurap ang screen. minsan naman may mga lines yung scroll bar. sabi military grade pero parang konting move lang ma damage na yung body. Pero maganda ang Audio nya. Super appreciated ko yung AI noise cancelling. Battery 90Wh yung sakin but 3 hrs lang din halos ang 20 - 80 percent. Walang game yun ,videos lang yun and internet . Gang ngayon di ko padin napa change yung screen na may bright pixels . Sinasagad ko muna kasi nung March 2022 ko lng nabili.Buset talaga 60k pa naman. Yung akin yung walang logo pero may TUF na letters sa cover. 🥲 Pero yung version nung akin ang storage ay 1TB SSD. Dual slot then RTX 3060Ti . Etong bago hindi Titanium. Engineering works lang habol ko sa laptop nato di naman ako gamer pero yun lang nakaka disappoint yung issues nya.

i own yung higher model sa refresh rate hindi automatic mamimili ka lang kung 60h or 300hz, pangit yung speaker kaya naka bluetooth sya sa speaker ko, me problema din ako sa windows 11 kapag nag bubukas ka sample you tube tapos open ka ng video sa another app na movie player nawawala yung sounds kaya need ko pa i disconnect at reconnect yung blue tooth connection para lang magka sound yung bagong open na program

Goods na Goods sulit kaibahan lang nito mukang nakuha kong unit ryzen 7 siya na 4800H 1 month palang OK siya gaming lahat etc. Di nga lang siya matagal malowbatt kung office use masasabi kong 4hrs na maximum from 100-30% syempre alaga lang sa laptop hindi ko pinapaabot sa 10 or lower than 20%.

Have the same laptop unit cons I noticed is the temp, I fixed it through cooling pads and vaccum fans on all the exhaust playing genshin with max setting 1.5 render resolution sitting at 70-80, monster hunter world highest setting 70-85 max. Battery life is good, I set it to 60% charge only to protect my battery even with 60% on silent mode would last 3-4 hours.
Note the 2022 is better but it is more expensive solves the thermals, the 2021 unit is much cheaper I bought a second hand unit that was 2 months old with receipt and under warranty for 50k while the 2022 depends on the variant would go as high as 100k+ so its up to you
