Hello, I have a query: Why is this channel SO FUCKING AWESOME?
One of the reasons i love this game so much is because the relationship between Atreus and Kratos reminds me of my own with my father, with the larger difference that i have a brother. I've always been the rebellious one and so... i feel that Kratos lets Atreus do as he does when his moment of rebellion comes because Kratos needs Atreus to feel the consequences of his actions rather than hear them. Dunno, that's how i felt about it when i played the game.
They did a great job turning the lovable Atreus into such a little shit that everyone wanted to smack. All while Kratos was just sitting back and grunting disapprovingly.
"Kratos doesn't effectively communicate that to his son" is kind of a running theme
I HATED the Valkyries in this game. >.
I always took it as Kratos and Atreus breaking out of the prophecy - rewriting their fate by acting rather than reacting - but interpreting the father figure as Odin would also work, assuming the image is close enough.
