What touched me in this video: 1. The mum who is very articulate and wise and the way she explained everything in few words 2. Syrian girl who said " I'm muslim before I'm syrian"
Eating was more important to Mawiyah bin sufiyan Rather than obey Rehmat-ul-alameen Messenger of Allah pbuh Sahih Muslim 6628 Ibn Abbas reported: I was playing with children that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) happened to pass by (us). I hid myself behind the door. He (the Prophet) came and patted my shoulders and said: Go and call Mu'awiya. I returned and said: He is busy in taking food. He again asked me to go and call Mu'awiya to him. I went (and came back) and said that he was busy in taking food, whereupon he said: May Allah not fill his belly! Ibn Muthanna, said: I asked Umm Umayya what he meant by the word Hatani. He said: It means he patted my shoulders.
Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will; but do some good act for your souls beforehand; and fear Allah. And know that ye are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give (these) good tidings to those who believe. Quran 2:223
I personally believe that a man should be more concerned with the easier/smaller sunan(Sunnah plural) before moving to the responsibility of a 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th wife Before I explain why I believe this I want to quickly state the 2 responsibility required to have 1-4 wife’s. 1: The man needs to be able to provide provision whether it be housing, food. And the wife’s own money for her needs. This applies for 1-4 wife’s. 2: The man needs to be equal with all the wife’s Now as to why I said a man should focus more on the smaller sunan is because of the fact that the human heart is not 100% fair all the time, the exception is the one who had 11 wives. It's also a big responsibility. Proof for this is: Narrated ‘Urwah: ‘A’ishah said: “O nephew! The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would not prefer any one of us to another with regards to spending time with us. Hardly a day would go by without him visiting all of us. He would come close to each woman, without touching her, until he reached the one whose turn it was, then he would spend the night with her. I am sorry for the long “Essay”. But I want to conclude with. I am NOT against the idea of a man having 1-4 wife’s but I would not encourage myself or any man to put such a hefty responsibility on themselves. Reason being you WILL be accounted for on the day of judgment for how you treated them and how equal you were between them. And to me that is a scary responsibility. Barakallahu feekum.

I love this. I come from a Catholic background and Italian background. I have friends from all over the world, have different beliefs, and finding out about my friends and their life and their background has taught me that everyone is basically the same. What I mean by that is we all love our families we all love our friends, and we all want to be, happy and peaceful with each other. This video is so beautiful. Thank you. I think I actually learned from this video. It has also proven to me that the world is small. I agree with the word that is being spread by your video. Let us love one another Salamalaykum.
That mum was good bro. She's the type of mother inlaw anyone would want to have. And she seems like she's raised her daughters. That would be a great family to marry from, just by the way the mum spoke and her energy was on point! May Allah give them all barakah in this life and the hereafter. Lovely video brother SQ! ❤️

As a man I'd like to reminder men that Allah says "ولن تعدلوا" It means whatever you do you gonna be unfair and this gonna be accountable in the day of judgment so if you don't have to have more than one like in case of wars for example you don't have to do it its heavy weight
"ولن تعدلوا فلا تميلوا كل الميل" you'll never be fair so don't tend completely to one leaving the other. The problem is accompanied with the solution in the verse. For those who can take more than one wife , they shall try to do their best and Allah may fix their shortages.
@@momoka863 yeah that's still makes my point when u try and Allah sees it he may gonna forgive you by his mercy but you're gonna still be unfair man i didn't say u can't the verse is clear but just to remind pps who take it easy just bc they got money and they can provide Ps even parents sometimes like one more than the rest of their children..
the attitudes of men and women with regards to multiple wives is telling. Western culture has hit men and women hard in terms of a negative attitude towards this sunnah. For a man 1 wife is never enough and for women a second wife is competition. It doesn't need to be this way.
@@WAYOFLIFESQ Your video shows a total mismatch of what men and women think about marriage. Women want a happily ever after for themselves but not for other women who have issues getting married (widows, women who can't have children, career women etc etc). Men are always looking for ways to satisfy their desires whether they go about it the halal or haram way is up to the individual but the desire is always ever-present. Polygamy needs to be shown in a positive light again for society to move on from its current trajectory.

This has been a hot topic. In my opinion, men should focus on priorities first before even thinking about having 2nd wife. If he cant take care of his main wife like a queen, why would he find another wife which will give him more tests?
Muslim men aren’t even allowed to have more than one wife anymore lol, when it was permissible is was based on the times it was revealed. A man trying to get another wife in todays times ( in developed countries where women can get education, jobs ect ) would not pass in Islamic court.

SubhanAllah😂 it takes a certain type of man and woman to do polygyny. It is not for the faint of heart but it could be a beautiful thing if all involved have the understanding of what it comes with, and are secure within themselves as well as have a level of emotional intelligence to handle it. There is a lot of barakah in it if done for the right intentions and a grievous punishment if it's done wrong. Even though it is permissible by Allah doesn't make it a joke. Great video! May Allah continue to bless you and your endeavors.

Great video and beautiful way to really show us different thoughts about polygamy. Yes it's allowed for men in Islam. One thing is wish he had included was: marriage is peace. From what I have understood, the goal of marriage is to find peace in each other. Of course there should be respect & love. But that comes from Allah. If I'm not completely lost or misinformed, I think that's the first purpose. So if you have all those things in a marriage, and you choose to add someone else to your life, you might lose that peace. For me personally, it would be the end of my marriage. Respect to the women who emotional and mentally in a place where they'll be ok. But it's not everyone. Allah knows best:)
Heeeeeey .. Those little pieces of advice for the kids made my day. I love your content. After watching a couple of videos, I admire you man. You are solid, confident, and aware! Not sure how you know a lot about Yemen though :) This is my first time using/committing to Patreon but I believe you deserve more. Keep doing what you are doing!
The real purpose of 4 wives or a man having 4 marriages is to support women who need it. Like divorced women and widows and orphan girls. And also having four wives is a great responsibility because the man needs to provide for all of them and the kids from them as well. So it’s not something everyone is capable of doing.
That's not true, Aisyah (may Allah pleased with her)was young and virgin. yeah husband must have strong finance to support al families, but we have Allah .
Sister, the act of marriage itself is for the support of the woman and her children. To give them provision and protection. But a man's biological instinct is to find as many mates as possible. And if a man desires another woman its better that he marry her in front of God and family rather than divorce her , break up the fam and leave her unprovided for. Another woman in the house is a benefit anyway and she can help with child rearing. Allah wants ppl to have big happy families with many children.

@@WAYOFLIFESQ your videos are sickning honnestly and you are spreading polygamy, sex and lust, because that's what you get when you are looking for 4 wifes ( lust and selfish pleasure ) , isn't Islam about caring about others feelings ? Isn't Islam about being less selfish and Care about your partner ? The Audacity of you even asking that question to women is unbelievable, you are basically asking them if they will accepte to be hurt, to be left for another one , it's like you are promoting cheating. The Quran DIDN'T allow men to casually marry 4 wifes , God says a men is allowed to have 4 wifes ONLY IF he's willing to treat them all equally and he says in the same line that they can't treat equally, which obviously leaves us with the conclusion that men aren't allowed to have more than one wife. But you seem to ignore the condition given by god. And you also seem uncaring about women's feelings and happiness. Look at the societies where polygamy happened, they are all in was , in poverty and corruption.
Very sweet video with very sweet people.. may Allah swt sweeten our lives here and in Hereafter and make all the hearts happy and satisfied. Ameen SQ Jazakumullahu khayra as everytime
Having 2 wives can be a beautiful thing. Me personally, I don't think I can do it because I want to be involved in my children's life and it's hard to do that having two families. For the people that want to do it and can do it, masha'allah for them. But it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Having one wife is hard enough as it is, having 2 is a different ball game.
I worked in UAE as a teacher and its sad to see the emotional distress the kids r in due to fathers having more then one wife...no attention given to them.. Before going ahead with something as such it can never work if u r not truly helping those women in need... So u simply do it for desire u r already weak.
Wdym, thats not got anything to do with polygny. first of all unless the kid is below 12 they dont care about their fathers attention and it doesnt effect them in school at all, second in the west we all have serial monogamy and most fathers are still neglectful of their children and bad fathers and abusive and etc.. are you going to say monogamy is bad now? this has nothing to do with polgny or monogamy
MashaAllah TabarakAllah.... I really love the way and the way our Sister in the eye speaks and demonstrates her honesty . May Allah Subhana wa tá ala always protect you and always show you the best way. Amien💚🤲🏾
Salaam! This was an interesting video to watch but I think it is a complex topic that was summed up a little too lightly. While I understand that islam does permit this, I also know that most women are not okay with this. There’s a few things i’d like to point out here : 1. mental health - i think it’s safe to say that people now are much more prone to falling into things like depression, anxiety and other mental health illnesses. All which have been on the rise. I think if my own Husband married another woman, i’d be so mentally disturbed, I would go into depression and then end up neglecting other aspects of my life like being a good mom, or working, taking care of the home or whatever else I am obligated to do. It would make me question or wander why i’m putting in 100% for someone and he’s only putting in 50% only to distribute the other 50% somewhere else. After all, Marriage is hard work and really does take 2! 2: I think that for daughters who see their Father’s have 2 wives and see the pain their Mothers endure, they loose faith in men and ultimately have their own trauma. I have a few friends who literally have no faith or desire for men anymore because their Dad’s couldn’t stay loyal to one woman. So then they ask, if I can provide and work for myself and be financially independent - why marry at all. I think somewhere marriage looses its sacredness in that, instead of looking forward to it, women run from it. 3: when your husband gets a 2nd wife, everything you have gets divided if he’s just. If he has another wife and kids, that means you each get 3.5 days with him. That’s 3.5 days as a woman where you’re on your own with your kids - kids get less time with their father vs a structured marriage where they have a greater presence around (speaking in generalities). 4: i don’t know about you, but where i live life is EXPENSIVE. It’s almost impossible to run a home on a single income anymore so if both of us have to work to provide a decent life, does that mean his financial responsibilities i have to pick up the slack for? As the first wife, you’re literally giving up half your life! Time, resources, emotional capacity - women are a lot to handle lol let’s be honest ladies! imagine your husband not being able to be there for you while you’re going through something because he also has to take care of another woman. I’m just stating things from observation and analysis, i understand that for some people it may work. Some women are very career driven and actually like having their own space, some women don’t want children and their husband does so he has another wife. Situations are different for everyone. But in any case it is not easy to do, a pretty bitter pill to swallow actually. So for those doing it, more power to you. For those in it and struggling, may Allah reward you for your struggle and for those of you who are honest enough to know you can’t handle it - that’s okay too, it’s Sunnah not Farz so if he doesn’t do it, there’s no sin! I think it’s important to cover practically how this plays out , I appreciate the light heartedness of the video but I would love to see a more in depth video of women who are going through it and happy, women going through it and are unhappy and women who refuse to do it at all - perspectives really open the mind. Also, love the energy you bring in this video, keep it coming :)! Peace & blessings of Allah be on all of you 🥰

Something I’ve never understood about polygamy is, what woman would ever want to share her husband? Maybe I’m wrong, but it would hurt me and my mother if my father wanted to marry another woman. This is why I feel circumstance is important when it comes to polygamy.
@@julinaonYT Do you think most men nowadays would like to marry again for the betterment of society, or is it to fulfil their sexual fantasies? Also, you’re speaking about civilisations in the past. What about societies where men far outnumber women? For example China, India? That’s millions of men single
Why does Islam allow 4 wives? Because early Muslim armies suffered many fatalities, so there were few men left. Marriage meant the remaining men provided for orphans(whose mothers, as most women of that time, didn't work), served as a father figure, and fulfilled the women's need for intimacy & protected them. Marriage to slaves was also promoted to help elevate their rank and allow them to have children and live a fulfilling life. All in a formal arrangement that ensured women were provided for in case of pregnancy and compensated in case of divorce. These marriages were about helping women, not oppressing them. Quran 4:3 says this is if "you worry you may be unjust to orphans, then marry..." 9301
His dawah is on point!!! What I notice though is people in this country who were raised in this country, they will ask a revert were they born Muslim, but when they are given dawah to non -Muslim they say to them they believe that everyone is born Muslim. Im like huh?
Men these days can’t handle one wife and you’re encouraging them to have more !! please don’t destroy your marriage over your desires . and also it’s not only about if man can provide . He should support his wife financially, emotionally and physically . He should spend time with his kids and protect them .

@@WAYOFLIFESQ Alhamdulillah our city was remain safe from floods, although some areas are severely effected by floods IN SHA Allah everything will be ok sooon 🤲
This topic does annoy me alot as its always missingly told and spread. I can assure that nowadays 95% of men do not require OR are allowed a second wife in islamic ways. And i am open to argue with anyone who says otherwise. The guy in the video saying "first of all its halal" i have doubts that his reasonins for a second wife is halal. He did mention that one of our duties is to extend and reproduce, which I agree, but if that was his reason I want to ask him if he would have taken any woman without caring about her looks at all?? If not that intention goes into lust and Seytan only has covered it up with an excuse to make him believe that what he is doing is halal. "ofcourse there is always jealousy" no thats not what those wives are going through, what they are going through is "unhappiness" "lack of self value" "uncomfortable" "insecure", a healthy jealousy that we can't get rid of is the jealousy that is only within a person mind from their view. But this is straight accepting another woman into your privacy into your life while your first wife is unhappy with it. Islam is not a simple religion, it takes care of both men and female equally. Ask those men then, what if your wife want a divorce because you can't satisfy her in intimacy, do they know that it's a valid reason. A woman can lose their interest if the husbands shows interest in another woman therefore she might not be satisfied anymore. Every aspect and every possiblity is covered in islam. Dont just cherry pick things that fits you and educate yourself.
Appreciate your comment I can see it’s something you’ve given a lot of thought towards. are you currently married? What your connection to this because you’ve seemed to have spoken based on experience
@@WAYOFLIFESQ Selam alaikum. No, I am not married. I was just questioning my religion alot and I looked for answers. So you could say my connection to this is simply me being a muslim and as a muslim its my duty to learn my religion. I was born in a muslim family elhamdulillah, but then I asked myself why am I a muslim, and the answer was "because I was born in a muslim family" thats not a valid answer so I researched alot and the more I learned the more I saw the true beauty of Islam and ofcourse I am far from being a good muslim BUT when it comes to representing Islam specially youtubers who choose to create their channels based on that I am extremely critical about, because you are representing my Religion aswell. Please don't see this as a hate comment, I really like your videos, yes I do have plenty of critical views on some of them but thats only because your channel is based on Islam.
Having a second wife sure is halal but not everything that's halal is good for us. It always depends on the situation, like sugar is halal too but when you're having certain health issues it may cause you damage... When a man has a healthy relationship with his wife and children and everything is going smoothly for them why choose to create chaos by marrying another woman and start a new family, that's gonna be hella hard I mean nowadays keeping one marriage going well is taking so much effort both mentally, economically and physically. I think that the times we live in right now makes marrying more than one woman a disadvantage for everyone most of the times (of course there are some exceptios). Personally I can't imagine sharing my husband with any other woman and if that's what he wants he has the right to do so but not with me around, I'll have to say goodbye to him.
I was thinking about how men and women view polygamy. In the same scenario, men will choose to use their wealth to help more people (women and children) but women will choose to protect themselves (and their kids) only. Perhaps this is why God put men in charge.
@@alphauno6614 you can still donate to help them it's not like marriage is the only solution that you have. And protecting the family is the most important thing in my opinion that's why I said there're exceptios, if you know that by marrying another woman your family could still function well and won't create chaos then that's fine but if you know how much damage it's gonna have on your wife and children whom you're supposed to love and care for why would you do that?!

Eating was more important to Mawiyah bin sufiyan Rather than obey Rehmat-ul-alameen Messenger of Allah pbuh
Sahih Muslim 6628
Ibn Abbas reported: I was playing with children that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) happened to pass by (us).

Quran 2:223
I personally believe that a man should be more concerned with the easier/smaller sunan(Sunnah plural) before moving to the responsibility of a 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th wife
Before I explain why I believe this I want to quickly state the 2 responsibility required to have 1-4 wife’s.
1: The man needs to be able to provide provision whether it be housing, food. And the wife’s own money for her needs. This applies for 1-4 wife’s.
2: The man needs to be equal with all the wife’s
Now as to why I said a man should focus more on the smaller sunan is because of the fact that the human heart is not 100% fair all the time, the exception is the one who had 11 wives. It's also a big responsibility.
Proof for this is:
Narrated ‘Urwah: ‘A’ishah said: “O nephew!
Barakallahu feekum.

the attitudes of men and women with regards to multiple wives is telling. Western culture has hit men and women hard in terms of a negative attitude towards this sunnah. For a man 1 wife is never enough and for women a second wife is competition. It doesn't need to be this way.

Sunnah is monogamous marriage too.Let the women decide what they want.
@@XYz-ce9oi If men let women decide then then I don't trust men to keep themselves as loyal as women would.
@@WAYOFLIFESQ Your video shows a total mismatch of what men and women think about marriage. Women want a happily ever after for themselves but not for other women who have issues getting married (widows, women who can't have children, career women etc etc). This has been a hot topic. In my opinion, men should focus on priorities first before even thinking about having 2nd wife. If he cant take care of his main wife like a queen, why would he find another wife which will give him more tests?

The Qur'an calls Christians and Jews "the worst of creatures" (98:6) and commands you to violently subjugate us (9:29). Christians are being mercilessly persecuted in Muslim lands by your brothers and sisters. And you ask why we bother to respond? It's all out of hatred, right?
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.
But you don't see anything hateful in what the Qur'an says about non-Muslims (for instance, when Allah says that he has no love for non-Muslims in 3:32)? And you have no objections to 4:34, 4:24, 5:51, etc.?

It is not for the faint of heart but it could be a beautiful thing if all involved have the understanding of what it comes with, and are secure within themselves as well as have a level of emotional intelligence to handle it. There is a lot of barakah in it if done for the right intentions and a grievous punishment if it's done wrong. Even though it is permissible by Allah doesn't make it a joke. Great video!

@@capistrano99 the most hadieths came from aisha ra. Do you can say that her memory was important for the marriage between them for islam
This is not correct at all. A man can have another wife just for the sake of having another wife.
And to have lots of sex too!

Salaam! This was an interesting video to watch but I think it is a complex topic that was summed up a little too lightly. While I understand that islam does permit this, I also know that most women are not okay with this. There’s a few things i’d like to point out here :
1. mental health - i think it’s safe to say that people now are much more prone to falling into things like depression, anxiety and other mental health illnesses.

Ok as a muslim i have seen this hadith so many times guys .. please reduce exagurarting in spreading these hadiths of women only ..
Can u bring the hadith also for us men ? That command women to obey their husbands ? I have never seen people spread that ..
There are no love for man, and no mention of mens need in the Hadith talking about love from his wife as I think even our prophets know that how selfish women are nowadays@@bestryfulhd2102

Something I’ve never understood about polygamy is, what woman would ever want to share her husband? Maybe I’m wrong, but it would hurt me and my mother if my father wanted to marry another woman. This is why I feel circumstance is important when it comes to polygamy.
This is a big test for women
Without a doubt
@@julinaonYT Do you think most men nowadays would like to marry again for the betterment of society, or is it to fulfil their sexual fantasies? Also, you’re speaking about civilisations in the past. What about societies where men far outnumber women? For example China, India? That’s millions of men single
@@AmirHussain-bi2vx Do you think women marry for their fantasies or for their greed?

We should marry twice, thrice or 4 times if Allah gives us the opportunity to. There are plenty of widows, divorced & poor women who need our support.
Men these days can’t handle one wife and you’re encouraging them to have more !! please don’t destroy your marriage over your desires . and also it’s not only about if man can provide . He should support his wife financially, emotionally and physically . He should spend time with his kids and protect them .
What about if your friend is divorced and you want to help her. Would you support her marrying your husband?

How is everything over there?
Agreed.. I wouldn't do sex If he's elsewhere. We have same feelings. I'd leave. No point.
Appreciate your comment
I can see it’s something you’ve given a lot of thought towards.

@@WAYOFLIFESQ no I'm not married but I can't see this in my life. I'm too jealous about such matters and I admit that openly. He won't survive this 🤣
@@WAYOFLIFESQ Selam alaikum.

@@WAYOFLIFESQ Fantastic, akhi. May Allah ta'aalaa bless you and your family, and accept it from you.
Exactlllly!!!!
All excellent points you’ve mentioned.
Would love to see people weigh in also
I was thinking about how men and women view polygamy. In the same scenario, men will choose to use their wealth to help more people (women and children) but women will choose to protect themselves (and their kids) only. Perhaps this is why God put men in charge.
@كات قيرل Good question. Should men help more than one woman or not? Maybe we should ask the divorcés , widows and reverts.
