Ok, this is actually incredibly good. I hope for the creator the best. Tons of original spritework, pretty much accurate Sonic physics (with a higher speed cap on top of that), no reliance on jumpscares and great level designs. This is a good work.
If you noticed during the race at the end when shadow points sonic nods his head in agreement in my head canon I honestly just think sonic is still keeping his cool and trying to be himself very minor but it's cool to think about.
Wow esto me sorprendió, al inicio pensé que era un típico juego exe donde moverse a un lado, apretar interruptores, salidas secreta y asi fue peroooo. A la mitad del video cuando llego a *space* cambio y para mejor con esa mecánica de viento con trampolines (los verdes que te empujan lento) y los pinchos pero luego de lo pasar un nivel sin recolectar 100 ring sino 💥☠️ y lo mejor fue la carrera 🧐. le doy 9/10 y eso que es una demo. PD: me asusto su Jumpscares donde se abre el ojo 😖, su diseño es cool y ya asi falta un Exe que no sea sonic.

Loved this from start to finish…but I think the level with sonic racing against shadow on a motorbike was more cool than creepy though…brilliant game all the same…

Could I put some kind of story here? The story is as follows: One day I got a download from someone claiming to be a old representative from Sega Enterprise saying they found the original Sonic 4. Curious I opened the game up. When it booted up it told me it was a prototype. It told me things I would have expected it to say of it being a prototype. But when it reached the end of the warning it said the first thing wrong: Please consider "Minding your own Business." I then heard a much darker sounding version of the Sega voice which was another bad sign. Right after it said the sonic team thing I saw for a bit "For those who DARE." For some reason I still pushed past it. I then saw "Sonic and ??? in" Sonic the Hedgehog 4. I thought to myself for a moment: Who was going to be sonic's partner in the 4th Sonic game? But for some reason Sonic and the partner didn't appear at the title screen. As the screen faded to black I saw red eyes as a reverse sounding sparkle played and then I saw a sadistic grin. The first level began with it being called Dust hill zone.
I was surprised that I was playing a sonic two lost level. From what I saw Sonic used the sonic two sprites but he had sonic three mechanics. I made my way through the level only to find for a brief moment a dark red giant ring. The screen became black with the word "greetings" appear. Just before it went to the next level I swore I saw Shadow with the same twisted grin I saw back at the title screen. It was then I thought, "Was this originally going to be shadow where he was meant to be a demon?" The 2nd level was called Hill of Dust and the music playing here was quite loud and slow... I had to turn the volume down a little. There were no enemies this time however there was a bunch of spikes. At one point I hit a checkpoint only to die. I saw that my life counter didn't go down. Since I died right next to the checkpoint it didn't matter anyway. At one point I saw a spring placed improperly. I then discovered that Sonic also had access to his super peel out from Sonic CD. At the end of the level I fell down much like how sonic does at the end of sandopolis from Sonic and knuckles. Want to know why I made that correlation? Because the next level was simply called tomb.
The tomb level simply had a droning sound play. The tomb level the way the area looked it reminded me a bit of the cavern level from sonic 3 multiplayer but it was a bit hard to tell with how dark it was. Once again there were no enemies. At the end of the Tomb level I found a black ring with a red outline. Some more text appeared saying "If only they could provide you with something..." What did it mean by that? I was brought to another level called Space which had the level design feeling like something out of Sonic Triple Trouble. The background here looked like some kind of vortex. I then found myself at some kind of weird updraft section where sonic was going up apparently I had to avoid springs here. It was decent level design here with this mechanic being introduced this way because there was another section just up ahead where there were green springs pointed downwards intending to push me into spikes. After getting past that I hit another checkpoint and I recieved something on the notepad warning me that the next section was incomplete and I should stop playing.
I didnt pay the warning any mind as I got to a 3rd part that had double sided spikes with the same updraft mechanic. Right after that I found a downdraft section which had some of the springs be infested with spikes on top. I then received another warning telling me I was asking for it. "Asking for what?" I wondered. Right after that I reached the end post. I saw what looked like a near pitch black sonic on the post when it finished where instead of the level clear message it told me "You have been warned." Sonic looked around like he didn't know what was about to happen. Also the distorted Sega scream played. Then the game told me that a Fatal Error happened with the reason being it was the end of the demo and it was thanking me for playing. I saw sonic to the bottom right corner doing the pose he does during a continue screen. But what happened next shocked me. Sonic got up and looked at the rising soulless shadow that appeared all of a sudden. Apparently his chest was gone revealing his skeletal cavity. Shadow? then began wagging his finger before static appeared revealing him to be tearing his head apart as a red hand came out of where his eyes should've been. That scared the heck out of me.
