- Hamas militants and Israeli military continue intense fight in Gaza's Jabalia refugee camp and Rafah. The militant group Hamas has released footage of its deadly assault on Israeli soldiers. Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades claimed a major attack on Israeli forces in Gaza. In a chilling video, one of Al-Qassam’s fighters is seen sniping an Israeli soldiers. Hamas said snipe operation was ‘in revenge for our blood, our religion and our land’. Watch this video for more information.

it's an abbreviation in Arabic : the Islamic resistance movement when u translate it in Arabic u can do the abbreviation of Hamas plus Hamas means excitement or enthusiasm in Arabic
