If he had targeted the tower the whole time, it wouldn't have made it to emergency repair timing and therefore safe to dive and snipe the culverin, no keep would've been built etc.

Missmanaged he's eco, had no food and wood but a shit ton of gold but never used it to rebalance he eco as it seemed. Anotand had the siege but never focued down any building, that the biggest mistake you can do against HRE, he was way to afraid of the cannon outpost, just use split formation and dive with the archer, that would have been gg.
IDEA for Outback Octogon 2: I believe that a fair rule would be for the king to enter the wonder to trigger the winning condition and start the countdown. If the king leaves the building, the winning condition would be momentarily interrupted. The reason behind this idea is that destroying landmarks does not provoke defeat for the defender, so they can build the wonder without necessarily risking elimination and can easily re-enter the game even if it is destroyed. It undermines the high risk/high reward nature of the wonder, this is especially true since players who build a wonder often have a substantial economic lead.

But if at 8 minutes you realize you can't keep on much longer, you can bring your king out of the wonder to temper the attacks, and then wait for a more profitable situation to continue the countdown. Building the wonder in this context has more value than in the Outback Octogon 1.
whats the name of the application that shows your opponent most likely to pic civ, and their win/lose rate as you're loading into a game? its kind of like blitz for LOL
Anotand needed to age and use his map presence more effectively. Capping all sacred sites while pushing would have been clutch and if he hadn't moved his entire army back to deal with the single keep he may have won. Amazing game though.

A series on the masteries of each fraction would help others to understand the game better. Currently I'm stuck on the Ottoman's! Defeat 15 ranged enemies with Sipahis affected by fortitude. I have wiped of every culture (enemy) using fortitude , and have not moved past this mastery level. I'm trying to go through each Culture s mastery levels one bye one.

The mongol player missplayed hard after the first siege, the game was his. Had he secured map control and vision, deny gold to his enemy he would have steamrolled him. Instead he dived again and again with archers under TCs and castle to try and kill culverins... His start was amazing though, relics denied and trade establishment against HRE. Mad start, terrible finish.
Could was unchecked for half the came to trade himself. And never went with it, Imagine if core had just 10 traders, just 10. I will never understand why some player see others trading and refuse to trade themselves.

taken from afar with the trebs while units just hang for a minute attacking closer buildings/guarding trebs probably would've worked.

I miss the team games. Don’t get me wrong I love 30+ minute 1v1 pro games, but I loved seeing drongo get carried up the team ladder.
Variety is good. I have the exact opposite preference but mixing things up keeps everyone happy and the content fresh.
