In the past year I’ve smelt flowers before loved one passes..
Yes, this is exactly what Clairalience is about. Scents as messages. Have you tried using aroma therapy to give your subconscious a language to communicate with you?
Recently I just started collecting crystals and seem to have picked up clairalience...the smell isn't connected with anyone I know or have known ..it's a fresh scent, kinda like citrus but not too much, not like perfume and it's very comforting...now I smell it at work or when I ride the train or when I'm on the computer looking at crystals..it isn't constant or ongoing and it last for a few moments then dissipates...I've never experienced anything like it...
If it is comforting to you then that is the universe helping to guide you! Scents can be synchronicity as well. We hear about numbers and words and pictures but the universe is vast and holds so many opportunities for us to connect. Follow your nose! You will find insights that few could discover!
Every once in a while I can smell the scent of a man in my house. It is always in the same part of the house. It is the scent that you would smell if you picked up a t-shirt that a male wore for the day. Does this mean that there is a male spirit in my house? There are no males that live in my house, however an older man owned the house before me and he is deceased.
The spirit doesn't necessarily have to be of the house. A lot of the times, this can be an ancestor or a guide just letting you know they are there. Or you may also associate this smell with protection or comfort.
Next time it comes, close your eyes and ask who it is. Let the message come however it needs to come.
And you'll know what you're personally experiencing.

I’ve realised recently that I have been experiencing Clairalience for some years. When I was a teenager I could smell gas in the kitchen of our family home and nobody else could, months after with an annual gas check a leak was detected in the same place as I could smell gas. I could always smell when both of my children were going to get ill. My Father passed away 3 weeks ago and my Mum is staying with me as she’s distraught and always in the same place of the living room where I sit in the evenings I get a smell of urine. Theirs no reason for the smell as I’ve thoroughly investigated this area and it smells fine but every evening while sitting about a meter away from my Mum I smell it. Is it my Dad’s spirit? I’m actually sure it is, but why is it a bad smell? Could it be my Mums pain? Any insights would be helpful 💐
Hi Sarah!!! Thank you for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Clairalience isn't my strongest gift so bear with me here. I've heard many reports about people who can smell illness or even future events. What you describe is very similar! As for the smell of urine, I would have to look to the natural world. Urine is used to mark territory. Urine is distinctly unique from person to person. You might be experiencing some power struggles between you and your mother. Especially right now during Mercury Retrograde and with the most recent full moon in the sign of Cancer. Cancer is all about the home and personal boundaries. I'd start there and see if you can find any other similar experiences to back up your insights. Aroma therapy may be excellent to help build your gift.
Yes, I’d not thought about the planetary influences, I need to look into this more. I have Saturn quincunxes to Venus and the moon in my birth chart and Saturn is in my second house of possessions. I subconsciously have issues around my home and with my Mum practically moving in with me I’ve had some inner struggles regarding territory. Thank you for this insight. Long comment incoming. My grandfather passed away exactly six months ago after being diagnosed with cancer about four months prior. My grandfather meant everything to me; My dad has never been very present in my life, so my grandfather was my main father figure, and he helped raise me alongside my grandmother and my mom. So for the four months that he was ill, I was his caretaker, I was with him almost every day, and I was standing next to him as he passed on. Since he passed away, there have been a handful of moments when I will suddenly get a whiff of his scent. And it literally stops me in my tracks, looking around, trying to find the source of this scent. It's not the smell of anything he wore, it's not the smell of his coffee, nor is it a floral smell. The best way I can describe it is the smell of his body odor, I guess. Not the unpleasant smell, but the smell he'd smell like when I'd give him a hug. Since he passed away, I only smell it when I'm in my grandparents home, where he lived and where he passed away, but I've noticed the smell in different locations around the house, usually when I'm not even thinking about him. I've never experienced anything like this before, and the death of my grandfather is the first time in my life that I've experienced the death of a loved one at all. So part of me figured maybe it was part of the grieving process. I've brought it up to my mother and grandmother, and neither of them have experienced anything similar to what I've described. Just tonight I heard someone mention "spirit scents," which led me to "clairalience"... which has led me here. I'm kind of blown away by it, as it describes almost to a T what I've been experiencing the last six months.
Is clairalience something I'm experiencing? The main thing that's throwing me off is that I'm not smelling the scent of cigarettes or smoke, or flowers, or mint, or his cologne, or anything else specific. I'll be taking out the trash at my grandparents house, I'll turn the corner and I'll suddenly be hit in the face with his body scent.
Sounds exactly like what this gift is for. I often have the same connection with my Grandad. Our story is very similar. He helped raised me throughout my childhood and was my hero. I often smell him randomly when I'm out walking or alone, I think he just likes to remind me I'm never alone and walks beside me as he did in life. I thank him and acknowledge him. That seems to help.
Native Americans and other cultures around the world have prayed to ancestors and seen them as protectors. I believe my Grandad works in that way. Sometimes I even find pennies left by him marking the way.

Does sick people smell different from healthy people？i can smell the sense of my mom recently and it feels weird..
It is possible that you're picking up something. Dogs are capable of picking up smells from certain types of cancer and can even predict seizures in patients prior to the seizure. Humans are evolving alongside nature every day. The insights aren't always paranormal in origin but completely possible through genetic evolution.
Yes I was able to smell when my kids were sick. I would say they had “sick breath” and would notice often before they had obvious symptoms. Their breath would get a kind of a musty milk smell mixed with a fumey chemical smell sort of like rubbing alcohol.
I’ve always thought that’s just a physical mundane nose sense (I’ve always had a sensitive smeller) but I’m also just realizing I’ve had clairalience many times and I’m just recently learning about it.

This Clair gift is probably more prevalent than anyone thinks, they just don't think about it. Smell is such an underrated sense but it helps us understand the world in complex ways.
My room smells like hot dogs and no one else can smell it how do I stop it please help me
I would recommend using a smudging technique like sage or juniper. Light some incense or spray a room freshener. If it's only linked to your room and no where else, it amy be coming from something. Do you have pets? If so, look for any toys or hidden treats. Not all smells have a spiritual connotation.

To rule out any physical ailments, I would make sure you don't have a sinus or oral infection. Allergies and inflammation can cause strange tastes and smells, Autumn is definitely the season for this.
Energetically speaking bleach is a cleansing agent. Is there something that needs cleansing in your life? And lastly, what does bleach mean to you?
