Oh dear the fans are now starting to know the rumours about the cheating. I’ve known for awhile now but all the comments got deleted and I couldn’t find much online until now. I know it isn’t my life but I just feel so sorry for the kids and their ex husbands. Wishing the kids and ex husbands love and healing.
the husband didnt do anything wrong yet the woman gets to publicise her sob story and her struggles and turn it into validation to imply that other women who dont really have a good reason to have a child out of wedlock is OKAY and “we feel you”? the result of giving too much empathy/publicity to a certain demographic validates their less than ideal life choices and gives other women a bad influence. yes we are all human but we should not be glorifying these stories to give our future generation an option/privelege to make poor decisions. why even give them a platform? they continue with their life but we should not aspire to live like them.
I like how both cheated at their husband multiple times... and justified it to assure themselves "It's their husband's fault". Also let me take a photo of this to see if it'll be taken down like on their insta

I mean, to be clear, we all need Him in our lives. Faith is God does not make you infallible, nor does it stop humans from succumbing to their sinful nature. What it does do its afford humans the gift of grace(and forgiveness) when they do fail, and without a doubt, all will fail. That grace leads Christians to grow and mature to be more Christlike. It is a lifelong and never ending journey. The idea that a Christian cannot mess up or sin is an all too common yet unfortunate theological misconception about the Christian faith.

I've been following Jayesslee since they first started out on youtube, am a fan, and there's no doubt their music has brought a lot of joy in peoples' lives. As for their private life (and unfortunately they have a public platform due to being semi-famous youtubers), as individuals and human beings, have lost respect for them due to them cheating and being unfaithful to their husbands. It appears like their hardcore fans are justifying their actions, and empathizing for them which is sending a terrible message to folks that cheating is OK. Anyway, poor ex-husbands, best believe there's great women out who can stay faithful and have morals. It boggles my mind how they market themselves as good, sweet Christians but are actually horrible role models. Disgusting. Hope the ex-husbands flourish and find better partners. While the twins learn from their irresponsible behaviors/mistakes and I'm sure will live with the consequences, but the saying goes, once a cheater, always a cheater.
I never understood the concept of the "good, sweet christian". If you set up expectations like that of all followers of Christ, you will spend your whole life being largely disappointed in them. Christians are people, and all people are fallible, and all people fall in some form or another. God has been so good to me, but I don't for one second believe that my faith qualifies me to be put on some pedestal as a role model. No - if anything, the fact that someone like me can be loved by God should be a testament to God's grace and mercy. Being "good" and "sweet" are personality traits, and don't reflect on God at all. That just makes you likable, and that shouldn't be our end goal as christians. The fallibility of being human has EVERYTHING to do with being christian, as Christ is the ONLY redemption for that. Remember what you said the next time you tell a lie, hurt someone's feelings, or otherwise do anything unethical - you're no great example of a christian either. Neither am I.

They may be held (and should hold themselves) to a higher standard, but that doesn't meant they are less "tempted" to do the same things as any unbeliever. And as with temptations go, people succumb, christian or not. So don't take what I'm saying as "Sonia and Janice cheating on their husbands is okay", because it's not. What I'm saying is what Jesus said...let he who has no sin cast the first stone. They will receive adequate punishment for their actions from God and in due time - not from internet trolls that think they have some self-proclaimed right to absolve themselves of wrongdoing but go on the internet and judge and ridicule people for theirs.
