I had Alyssa update my Indyx wardrobe and I loved the results! I also did a Kibbe /Color analysis with her. You do look like a textbook Dramatic with Natural Essence imo.
She's a fabulous stylist - this was great to get her eye on my wardrobe. Essences - this is new to me! Off to do some more research :D
I agree on dramatic with natural.
Isn't that funny how a new perspective can breathe life into your pieces? It's like having a brand new wardrobe! So fun!
Exactly this 100%!!
OBSESSED with how you made these your own!! Love everything you do and thank you so much for your kind words 🥰
Thank you again Alyssa! This was so much fun and I loved seeing the outfits you came up with. Wearing the navy vest + jeans for a day with the kids today 🥰
wow everything was polished with an edge!!! LOVED EVERYTHING ON YOU!!!!
Alyssa did an incredible job! 🥰🥰
Loved all the new outfits! The sandals on the first one stole my heart completely.
Thank you! Alyssa did a fab job. And those Tibi sandals are very good. I may or may not have just bought them in the white too (sale on sale...)
It was a lot of fun to see these outfits! You style your clothes so well on your own and yet the stylist managed to style looks that feel like "you" (at least in my opinion) but with a twist. Also, your hair looks amazing!❤
Absolutely!! I feel like Alyssa nailed the essence of my style while putting her spin on things. Very fun and it's inspired even more outfits, too. And thank you! Figuring out the Dyson Airwrap has been game changing
I’ve been quite busy recently and haven’t had time for youtube. I’ve forgotten just how much I love your videos and overall your style. Such an interesting take on the pieces and some pairings that were quite unexpected for me. Thanks for sharing and for being you! ❤
Hi Gayane, oh this is the kindest compliment thank you so much! I hope that everything has been well with you
Loved this video and knew I would as I’m a fan of Alyssa’s too. Loved how her ideas gave you even more new outfit idea combos.
I’m really into Kibbe as well and I agree with her that you are a dramatic. I always type my favourite UA-camrs in my head and always saw you as a dramatic.
For myself, discovering and understanding my own Kibbe type (soft dramatic) really helped fine tuning my style.
Absolutely, and I've been wearing a few riffs on the suggestions too as a bit of a uniform - I think one of the key benefits of having someone else come in and style your closet.
I need to do some more research into Kibbe and perhaps I can do a whole styling video centred around it!
Hi, I have been studying the Kibbe body typing method for a while now and although I'm a size up from you we have similar bone structure and I am also slightly pear shaped. I too see you as a dramatic. I was really not sure and could not tell if I am a dramatic classic or a dramatic, but I think since ultra classic styles look best on me, that I am a dramatic classic. I also look best in ultra minimal styles too. Most of the silhouettes that you have in your closet also work really well for me. We also have similar colouring so your channel is such an inspiration of fashion, style and shopping. I really enjoy seeing how the stylist reworked some of your wardrobe pieces. I do not know if I want to spend that much to indyx my wardrobe, but it's very tempting. I can see the benefits. Thanks for sharing, I really love to watch your videos in my free time. Best Wishes.
So this is a perfectly timed comment as I'm prepping for next week - a video on dressing my Kibbe type :D I'm so glad you found this interesting and insightful. Definitely great to get another perspective on my closet. You can index your wardrobe on your own (at no cost) - that's what I've done. Helpful for outfit building and keeping track of what you wear etc x
This worked out really well!
The outfits were great weren't they?
I love how this is kind of your style with a twist!
Right?! Loved the lookbook she put together for me :D
I love videos like this ! Great job will be rewatching several times , great ideas
Yay so glad you loved it!! x
Fantastic video, loved your insight and review of all the outfits plus seeing them on you. It's really inspired me.
Thank you and I'm so thrilled!
I love watching these thank you for sharing it! I honestly think that the original blazer she had for you in that first outfit was spot on… I think the Everlane blazer with wide leg pants is so swampy…
So glad you enjoyed! I can see what you mean, IRL in front of the mirror the Everlane blazer felt more like "me" in this outfit which is down to personal preference than anything - probably as I wear the Tibi jacket exclusively as a top. Great to have options! :D
I like that the stylist inspired more outfits for you, her choices were definetly the best looks though.
She put together some great outfits; very much the tone of my style :)
Loved everything ❤ very much enjoyed this posting.
Yay so happy you loved it! Had so much fun filming this
I think Alyssa nailed it!
She did a fab job didn't she?
Also loved that you showed were to get your items ‘ thank you
Excellent video. I love the Cos wool pants. I went to the website to purchase right away but noticed dry clean only. You mentioned easy to launder...do you wash these at home in the washer? thanks!
I will admit that I often ignore this - my grandparents ALWAYS laundered wool trousers; the key is, cold wool/hand wash setting, low spin setting. They come out looking perfect every time. No shrinkage. I don't put anything I own in the dryer so all air dried
@@mademoisellejaime thank you!
@@mademoisellejaime I also wash everything at home, even items with leather on them sometimes. I have never had issues.
Love this 🩷🌸
I enjoyed your video and the concept. I did a pretty comprehensive kibbe quiz, and I’m a dramatic classic. The dramatic part is sharper features and the classic part is an average and balanced size, height, and shape. Dramatic classics often have more weight in the hips and thighs than in the upper body. Things I’ve discovered that look good on me: sharp shoulders, interesting arm detail (like colour blocking), and smaller (not dangly) earrings. From what I can tell, I actually think you might be a dramatic classic as well. Please let us know if you look into it. BTW, I think the first black blazer looked great in the first outfit (the dark sharp shouldered one).
Definitely planning to do a bit more research as I think this would be a really fun video concept as it differs quite a bit to my own styling approach :D
In my eyes you are definitely a dramatic too. Great video! Absolutely enjoyed it! 😍🤩🙏👍👍
Thank you so much 😁
With the print mixing outfit I’d untuck the shirt when wearing the sweatshirt to show a bit of stripe at the bottom.
Oooh yes that’s a fun idea!
I have always thought you are Dramatic Kibbe body type. A lot of the outfits and pieces you wear are flattering on a Dramatic type, and it might be why you always look great!
Ah interesting! I'm planning to do more research and I think it would be fun to do a video on it with styling etc :D
@@mademoisellejaime A video would be wonderful. Something to look forward to!
Very cool!
I’m like your daughter, obsessed with cats, I adore them. So, I was very tempted to get that Ganni t-shirt, but I have several never-worn graphic tees already. They don’t feel right for my style at the moment.
I'm much like you - I seldom wear graphic tees and have learnt that I just don't need many in my closet. In the past I've bought them and the same thing would happen, I'd never wear them. This is that "one" for me (along with a plain grey tee with an embroidered detail on the bust).
Alyssa is amazing, you look fantastic! I definitely do not think you are 'pear shaped' so to speak and would highly recommend you get Kibbe body typed. I would also wear open toed shows for the dress over pant outfit for visual balance. Thanks for sharing!
She did a fantastic job! Ah haha I'm a smaller pear but definitely is my body shape; I am a size AU8 but can often wear a size AU6 on my upper half, and put weight around my bum and thighs first. Narrower shoulders, long torso etc. I often tend to have my arm down slightly in front of my hips so you never get the full view of how they angle out/are my widest point - safe to say I've learnt my angles LOL (and I tend to avoid things that highlight my hips). Based on the comments looks like a lot of people are agreeing with dramatic as my Kibbe type so I'm planning to do some research and perhaps do a follow up video focusing on Dramatic type outfits. That would be really fun!
And yes sandals would also be good with the dress over pants look. I have some great knotted dainty sandals from Tibi which I could pair with it! x
I am quite into Larson body types and not Kibbi body types as I find the system more logical and systematic. By Larson, I would also imagine you have strong drama in your body. I have strong drama too according to my stylist (and I certainly see it too) and figuring out those long-line-outfits has been very difficult for me! Everywhere you look, there are outfits with waist emphasis, especially since the belts revival. I am glad I got few long-line outfit ideas from your stylist :)
So glad that this inspired you with your wardrobe, too! I'll have to look into the Larson approach too x
Loved the first outfit, especially with the blazer. But didn’t like the shoes, especially because it is then summer on the feet and autumn on the top, just not matching temperature wise…
I wear sandals in the wintertime here sometimes - just because of our weather so for me, I'm quite happy to have in that mix (I love a sweater + sandals outfit, too!)
@@mademoisellejaime good for you, we have 10 degrees starting from September here...
Too bad she styled so many summer outfits for you this time of year. I was hoping to get some autumn inspiration.
It's currently spring here in Sydney so the styling was perfect for our weather (which admittedly is a mixed bag at the moment!). That said, I'll have more A/W styling ideas coming soon :D
I thought you were dramatic or maybe natural?
Outfit 5 I don’t like the shoes again, sambas look to off…
It's a little sportier than I'd usually opt for though I did enjoy it. Good thing is the options; I could easily swap for a ballet flat too! I have a red pair that would be cute :D
I think you are definitely a dramatic 🖤🤍😍👍
Listen to your stylist
Without any context I can’t tell if you’re telling me you don’t like my outfits normally or if you’re saying you like these silhouettes on me? 😅 either way, Alyssa did a great job didn’t she?
