Just a large bank roll. Looked it up on the website and it would cost at least 650k before all of those high end finishes. For a 1300 square foot, 2 bedroom? Oh, and of course that doesn’t take into account your land. It’s lovely, but come on.

Omg, I love this! Thank you for addressing my comment regarding showing smaller homes. Many in my generation want smaller, more reasonably sized homes for our families. I hope you feature more of these homes in the future. We have two little children and our goal is to stay at 1500 sq ft or less. This home is fantastic! It allows anyone to see the possibilities for a smaller home.

I don't particularly want a big house so I like that it has the style of the "Inside an Amazing Home" series but is much smaller, cozier but with all the essentials. I'd really love to see smaller houses. I think most people can't afford a massive luxury house and would love to see something smaller but still luxurious.

Wow... I'm a retiree and single. So, this beautiful home, if I were to own one like it, would selfishly be just for me. It is the perfect size with so many impressive touches. I really like the combination of industrial and log cabin finishes. I can't think of many more peaceful, beautiful locales to have a home like this situated in. Thanks so much for sharing this tour.

Love the Rustic knotty alder cabinets and black iron hardware pulls completing that beautiful Rustic look. Notice I'm using the term Rustic, the last thing I want in a log home is for it to have a "Industrial look or vibe".

Guys you are amazing at space distribution, you made a house that is small in total size 120 sqm, but you've managed a huge living room. I've watched a lot of German companies and even if they make a house 50% bigger or even twice, you still end up with tiny cramped living room, and tiny bedrooms. Only thing I would change is but the kitchen, I like it separate but you did that on purpose, still this is a better design than 99% of what I've seen ...

Very nice. But I don't like the washer dryer in the kitchen. Maybe a side room off the kitchen would be better. With a laundry tub and a place for storage.

I love that the island stools do not sit on the floor. Less clutter on the floor is so much easier to clean. Can these homes be built in TN, what is the cost to build, and how long does it take to build?
We build often in TN, most homes are between 9 and 12 months to turnkey.
Great job on this home, just love the way it is decorated. What would be the approximate cost for this home as is. I’m not talking about the land just the construction and fixtures. Fantastic retirement home that’s what I’m thinking.

I like the floor plan (two master suites, but they should actually *match* ). I'd ad a half bath. Needs a WBFP. Put those W/D units in a laundry toom Go with more of a Rustic Craftsman/Arts and crafts interior aesthetic.

Luxurious little cabin, I want to build something like it but much bigger and incorporate a cottage feel with marble slab thru-out in mine. I have yet to see marble slab inside of a cottage or cabin.

where did they find the hardware for the swing out chairs on the kitchen island?
They had it made by a local fabricator who is incredibly talented!
I ask this question because I don’t know: would there be any issues building / owning a timber home in a very dry and hot location like Las Vegas?
Great question, We would recommend our flat textured finishes, the new chiseled or our hand hewn, why because they are better at holding the stain. I like to call them sticky. We also have some log sidings made of concrete .Another thing to remember is the wood will acclimate to your location. I would also recommend super long roof overhangs etc.

You are correct it was built for the sole purpose of being a VRBO. This buyer has had Golden Eagle build four homes now and they are VRBO

UH....I think this house is missing closets! I understand it is a vacation home, but still. I would take out the loft, make the roof lower, enlarge the bedrooms to fit actual nightstands and dressers, have walk in closets, and put in a large soaking tub against the outside wall with a window above for light in the master bedroom. The shower can go where the sauna is.

@@goldeneagleloghomes Cool video. I really wish you would just be up front and say how much this exact presentation of this model cost. Don’t give me a link to your generic “model plan” website…tell us exactly how much this costs as shown to build with every single customization. When you don’t, It’s just like going into a tract of new homes with builders. They make model homes with every bell and whistle…you go in and look because this model is in your price range of say…$500k base price, and then find out that if you want to build one just as they have shown you in the model…it’s $700k. Very frustrating.

How would you reach the controls for the dryer?
Stackables are used all the time, I personally never had one maybe somebody can comment
Me and my girl are just over 5 feet. It a little stretch, but for normal sized people its not a problem. I actually never thought about it until now. But being a smaller person, its no different then reaching for a glass in the cupboards.
Our Samsung washer and dryer combo that can stack has the washer and dryer control panel on the washer so if you stack you use the dryer control on the washer front. Additionally you can connect both washer and dryer to home WiFi and use you smart phone to control both. The kids use their smartphone control and I use the front panel control on the washer. Both work.
Costs? Taxes? Financable? Price for paying cash? Time to have the model shown in this podcast move in ready?
