I just grabbed a used 2017 Mustang digital modelling amp and open box Squier Affinity Tele for $250 total. Budget versatility. I was looking at the Champion 20 but I was specifically looking for a low-volume capable digital sound.

I don’t know what he was playing when he started testing it but it sounds so calming and beautiful 🫡

Does your champ 20 have a loud nasty pop when you turn it off?

Yes… and I have no idea why.

@MattCiprianoMusic Same issue with mine. Did some research, and it appears to be a characteristic of the amp. Fender knows about it and didn't bother to fix it. Outside of that, it plays great.
Just added an affinity Tele (chinese )as a cheap alternative to carry around. Outside of having to correct some height and minor intonation issues it's a great lil guitar. I don't have any of the fret or finish issues others have noticed.

@@MattCiprianoMusic Generaly Affinity teles are MiC while Affinity strats are MII. Squier sells a lot, guess they want to keep production steady

@@raphaelsmith4134 I wasn't aware of that. I wonder if the Strats have a good quality, haven't held one in my hands to see for myself.
