I studied abroad at Waseda in 1977-78 and this kind of shokudō was exactly the kind of place where students loved to eat and meet friends. Itʻs really a part of the College Town atmosphere. This ojisan looks so warm and welcoming and along with the food and reasonable prices, a big reason this place is so popular and has lasted so long.
