This is an old video I found in my archives that you haven't seen, so I thought I would upload it before the new year. I still have this model and plan to film a proper demonstration at some point.

Hi Roger. Thank you so much for your vacuum videos. I’m also a “sucker” for vacuums ;-). This might have been caused by being the main hoover man at home since a little boy and of course this task has stuck with me.
Keep doing the heavy lifting (testing) so that we don’t have to.
By the way the right way to pronounce vileda is “veeleda”. This comes from the German wie Leder which means “like leather”.

With these robot vacuums and see if they cover the whole area without having to put dirt everywhere is to film it positioning the camera where it covers that same area and then in post tracing its route so that it’s easy to see if it has missed anything or even if it goes over already cleaned areas showing its effectiveness, but I’m sure you know this.... it’s the patience and time to do it ;-)

I also like square robot vacs with the brushrolls up front. I like the machines from Samsung with linear programming.

I have it some time ago, even recorded video on my channel. You could use it without the top cover - its power brush is powerful, plus it has clear bin so you can observe the particles pick up inside.

In the US vileda is o'sedar meaning they make same stuff but different brands

Not sure exactly what robot offerings you have in the UK but there really isn’t a better robot at cleaning than a neato. The only ones that can compete are the roborock S5, S6 and the roomba S9+.

The Neato has done a better job in my experience than the Roomba

the s9 has it beat, but if you can’t afford it than a neato is the next best. i prefer the roborocks to neato’s though.

@@cunty Well the s series is twice the price, at least here in the US. I hated having to make my house robot ready so I gave up on them and bought a Dyson V10.

It seems to be a tie between the higher end Roombas, Neatos and Roborocks. Roomba if money is no object, Neato if it is and you still want a carpet focused robotvac.. and Roborock if you want an all rounder that can still clean carpets well but is great for floors and can do light mopping.
I use a Roborock S5, and a uhappy squatvac for spot jobs [latter can go under our fridge]. If we had more carpeted rooms would have gone with Neato instead of S5.

I just don't see the point in getting one of theses (speaking of robotic vacuums in general). You can manually vacuum this rug in a few minutes and do a much better job.

i dont think ur iq is more than the room temp in celsius, but i was trying to say that u can turn it on when u leave your house and come back to a clean house

@@themaddog9202 I get your point, it's about efficient use of time. But a dishwasher has an additional advantage over manual washing: it uses very hot water, which kills a lot of germs. It also wastes less water. But a robot vacuum cleaner, has just one advantage: it frees you to do other stuff - which is important. But overall, it's not better than you at vacuuming. Especially on carpets and rugs. That was my point.
