It appears that if a collector is currently looking for the item, the icon in the tool-tip is colored. If it is an item they might want in the future, it is grayed out.
Little tip don't verify anything you want to give to a collector. That means you can transfer all items in to your shop but it will leave the other in the truck. Then just verify and put in your storage at home. Saves trying to keep certain items separate

I thought the punching bag would have was shaped like a human would work great as a target for the guns that you can use in the game as a stress reliever, not just for punching at them so even if he didn’t set the humanoid target up in the sports room, you could set it up Near the fucking bowl and use it for an indoor target for your AK-47
