I have a g37 and I removed resonators and mufflers, single exit exhaust with a 3 inch pipe from cats and it sounds comparable to a gtr
best results is you straight pipe your car, you remove ur resonator and replace it with a cherry bomb, then have the pipes bend to the passenger side and back and forth to the exhaust

Personally I'm biased towards V8s and I think the M45 sounds better than the rest. I'd like to see a modern Infiniti with a V8 in it
The q80 has the 5.6 from qx80 for an engine option
m56 and fx50 are underated

Some G37 exhaust advice from an owner: Never go bigger than 2.5”, don’t get rid of stock cats, get resonators if you can and pay for a quality exhaust don’t get that stupid eBay shit.

Motordyne is the best sounding exhaust for the 3.5 and 3.7. Never remove resonators on vqs it makes it way too raspy
@Shawn Don003 if your going the cheap way on exhausts I would simply do a muffler delete keep the resonators, they eliminate rasp

4.5 sounded the best!! The V6's need some work other than the 3.5, which was the only good sounding V6 out of the three! 😏😏😏😏😏
The 3.7 is a tricky one. Must not be familiar with the SCS Catback yet 😉
I basically have the SCS catback, but it 4x9 mufflers instead of resonators at the back. It sounds super low key at idle, and comes alive on throttle, but never getting stupid loud.
You guys need to get in a M56, i currently drive a M37x but would love to upgrade to that monster
Beast of an engine, but the ride is too soft, even in Sport mode.
I just got my 2010 G37X sedan's exhaust replaced last week. It has the stock cats, dual 2.5" piping, resonated xpipe, 4x9's x2, and stock tips. It sounds super low key around idle (almost stockish), but smoothly wakes up when I am on the gas. 😈😎
They literally all sound like fart cans besides the 4.5🤣

I have a stilled catback, sounds better than this, but probably much more than what the 350 exhaust was, so whatever is in your price range, tbh, can’t go too wrong besides straight piping on a vq35

3.7 is too raspy as we all know, but they all sound better. My M56 is without the secondary cars resonators and after market mufflers. I must say it sounds darn nice!

If they all went on ebay and bought the cheapest exhuast they could, it wound of sounded better and produced more power, and they would have had a chance to get the correct diameter. Best of all it would of probably cost the same and would have been tig welded. I absolutly hate it when muffler shops think they're tuner shops.

If you want to truly unlock the potential your own vehicle has. Do the research. If you are unable to do the work yourself because of time, finances and/or experience. Do the research and locate an expert that will inform you of the best way it can be done. Don't get conned. Your hard earned money and the longevity of your vehicle is at stake.
Yet you definitely watched the video and took the time to write a comment. Muffler and resonator can be a decent power increase, but you wouldn’t know that because you’re just talking out your ass. Please explain how a straight pipe is going to change your vehicle’s longevity.
These people want sound, or else they'd go buy a $1000+ exhaust bud. It's not that deep.

Never ever straight pipe a G37 unless you’re a coupe with single exit with resonated test pipes but sedan that is a sin to go straight pipe bc it sounds like absolute shit I’ve owned two Gs sedan and coupe that g37 really broke me with how bad it sounded 😂

True duals are 2 separate pipes running to the back with no x pipe or crossover whatsoever. That's why that 350 sounds like a rice rocket honda.

I came to this video with pure excitement and left with so much disappointment. This was literally all cheap straight pipe ear cancer. This is the definition of rice, a bunch of unmaintained unmodded cars that literally only have straight pipes which I can't believe anyone would think way too loud means cool but I guess I shouldn't expect more from a bunch of stockies. Gives the aftermarket car scene a terrible name 🤦♂️
